The gist of it is that "prescriptive moralism bad, any benefit it gives is short-term, but godless prescriptive moralism is even worse, since it has no ambition"Is dis nigga even worth reading? I haven't read any of his shit nor really any other typical philosophers nor any religious stuff and honestly don't understand what I'm supposed to be missing.
It's all about thinking for yourself and not doing things just because society or someone in a position of authority told you it's good, but because you yourself think it's good, and not to be resentful of anyone that turns out to be better than you at something, and instead to just to cultivate yourself. It's nothing really revolutionary when you think about it, but there's a type of idiot to whom this is anathema, since their idea of "good" is killing yourself to potentially help someone who doesn't want help and will just dislike you for it (this is why he disliked Christianity)
