The discourse has mercifully died off, but "asexuals can have sex" was a huge argument 10-15 years ago. It basically boiled down to one camp saying they were grey-asexual or demisexual, which was no less asexual, it just meant they sometimes developed "secondary" sexual attraction based on a romantic attraction (no casual sex) or poorly defined "close connection" that could happen over the course of one conversation but totally wasn't the same as normal sexual attraction. They also had this for romantic attraction (i.e. no "love at first sight") and then they had split attraction so you could get a heteroromantic demibisexual
Then there was another camp which was arguing they experienced tertiary sexual attraction (i.e. they're not sexually attracted to anyone, but would be willing to have sex with a man they were dating to try and have a baby or to express their love) or they didn't experience any sexual attraction, but they enjoyed the feeling of sex and therefore had loads of casual sex via using people as masturbation aids, and they just happened to have a preference for thin, conventionally attractive women to use to this end (but it wasn't sexual attraction).
That's also the discourse that blessed us with "non sexual kinks" (aka I can talk to children about BDSM because I'm asexual so it's not predatory grooming) and microlabels like lithosexual ("I lose sexual attraction if it's reciprocated, stop oppressing me by criticising my violent rape fantasies").
Then naturally the third camp of "you people are insane". I think pretty much all the people who identified with this sort of discourse must have transitioned and moved on to making microlabels about gender identity and neopronouns.
Anyway, I could see a scenario where Choob's big idea was that the lead character was an asexual who fucks, because it'd allow for an exercise in pointless navelgazing about how someone who hooks up with a load of characters and eventually gets into a relationship with a love interest is still asexual.

I think that's an interesting and funny comparison, but I'd say the difference is that incels desperately want to have sex, but can't find anyone interested in them, whereas 'asexual' people are terrified of the whole concept and all the human interaction that goes with it and so repress their sexuality. It's like two different approaches to the same situation - obsessing over it vs. ignoring it and hoping it goes away.

I think you're absolutely right about the divide between incels and asexuals. The driver of that divide I think is that asexuals are far more likely to be actual women. From the survey data I've seen 65-70% of self identified asexuals are women 10-15% are men and the rest identify as other, so probably women. See page 6
I think women who identify as asexual are making a similar choice to a lot of FtM. With lots of MtF it's about living out a sexual fetish, that's why Ollie and Nyck go out of their way to dress up in overly sexualized outfits that almost no real women would actually wear. With FtM it's much more about escaping the sexual desire of men, which if you're a girl who grew up in the modern era where hardcore pornography is both easily accessible and becoming more mainstream it makes a lot of sense to just try and duck the issue. If you think sex means being choked while a guy fucks you in the ass I'd feel very scared of sex too.

Ollie's thread is my absolute favourite one on the site. I read it while drinking my most expensive drinks. I mean this in the most sincere way, he truly is the best at lolcow-ing. He actually has ascended to the top of an entertainment industry. Someone less drunk than me could elaborate better perhaps - he has the perfect blend of delusion, obsession, and lack of self-awareness to make every single page of his thread good reading. Possibly only Nick Rekieta has a better plotline from page 1 to now.

Horsegirls are already a meme but they're divided into 2 types: the autistic girls that are obsessed with horses as a concept and then the girls that are actually into horses (and also obsessed but in a different way). Due to the nature of being a livestock animal it's a niche culture that keeps to itself for the most part even if it's not uncommon to see them in pastures if you live anywhere remotely rural. It's also much more common for people of lower income to be able to afford to get involved with horses in the US than I believe is the case for the UK.

He's kind of a deep cut as a lolcow, and it's hard to exactly pinpoint why he's interesting. On the surface at least he really has his shit together - he works hard, makes good money. I wouldn't say his career is on the up exactly (I think he might have stalled at this point), but he's doing about as well as a middlebrow philosophy YouTuber and talentless hack actor can reasonably expect. By the standards of the people documented on this site, he doesn't do anything that outlandish or grotesque.
But he's just such an embarrassing failure as a human being, such an unpleasant person, so ambitious and yet so lacking in ability or any human qualities, utterly humourless, smug, arrogant, vain, and yet without any sense of dignity, pseudo-intellectual, intelligent enough to play around with ideas, but not enough to really understand them or weigh them objectively, obsessed by a vision of himself as a great artist and thinker but totally without the ability to have an imaginative or original thought. He has a real dark side too. If he'd been alive in the 1930s in the Soviet Union, he'd absolutely be some sort of mid-ranking commissar overseeing the purges. He has no scruples, no personal honour, no humanity.
And that's before we even get to the subject of his disastrous decision to live out this pathetic fantasy life as a woman! He's a fascinating character study. Almost Dickensian.
