Do they not do brushland cleanup in California, what the fuck? Theres a fire there like every day in California because I guess the firemen are only there to look hot because theyre all gay.

You have to have lived there to understand. Fires start easily and unless you literally destroy the vegetation; you have to live with them.

And if you were mad enough to destroy the vegetation then the mudslides and torrents of water coming off the mountains will destroy a great deal.

It’s like in Australia when the climate gets dry enough, the fires just go whacko real fast.

I'm seeing some Xitter posts talking about how schizophrenic homeless people randomly starting fires is a big problem in LA, any truth to that?

Homeless people are constantly starting fires. The last couple of "oh shit" brush fires in my city (not LA but San Diego) were obviously started by homeless people but the news/cops/fire dept always play it down by mentioning after "it was near an encampment" yeah no shit they were near encampments because THE HOMELESS CAN'T STOP SETTING FIRES.

Pacific Palisades is an affluent area (celebrities and jews) so the homeless tend to camp out in the wilderness up in the hills where fires are pretty much guaranteed. found this article from September 2024, how think provoking.
