2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Three killed, including police officer in shooting attack by Kedumim & Al Funduq, West Bank
While targeting settlers is a whole lot more justifiable than targeting random Israelis (though I also think the settler issue is completely overblown by idiots who want to create a moral equivalency between Israel and Palestinian terrorists), it still has the problem that it simply won’t ever improve things for Palestinians. It just makes the IDF crack down on Palestinians as a whole. Maybe it discourages Israelis from building settlements, but to be honest I kind of doubt it.

At this point they’re clearly just doing it because it’s just what they do.
Step 1: Kill Jews
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Free Palestine

The use of the term “settler” is, in many cases, a misnomer. The West Bank is divided into three administrative areas with 1 of the three being under the complete administration of Israel. Secondly, some of these so called settlements were actually Jewish localities that Arabs ethnically cleansed of Jews in the 1900s, so they are being re-inhabited. For example, Kfar Etzion was established in 1927. Its Jews were expelled in 1948 and it was re-inhabited in 1967. At this point it’s 3 generations old. These are brick and mortar sites, not tent villages.
Then there is also the fact that the areas were all Jewish at one point, so they could be seen as being re-settled.
Arabs and misinformed westerners are lead to have this vision of Israelis bulldozing down Arab villages and erecting settlements in their place.

There's also two different types of settlements. there's the type where the Israeli people have petitioned the government to allow the transition and sale idf held land (conquered from jordan) which was used for military purposes (ranges, bases, etc) to developers to create homes. Or a developer will buy land from Palestinians (usually abroad) This is entirely legal.

The second are guys who literally just place an rv or camper van on some arab farmers field without asking or paying - that's illegal even under israeli law.

Most people are ok with the first type but not the second.

The fact that he uncritically interviewed a Houthi is already disgusting, the fact that he now tries to pretend that he was interviewing a random Yemeni kid and the only reason people criticize it is because they think all Arabs are terrorists is even more scum sucky.
you're such a moralfagging cuck. collaborating with out of the blue people is based. and do you have proof he is Houthi? you are kiwifarms aynways.

Some Palestine activist shenanigans have been happening in my country lately. I hope this is the right thread to share this.

Like elsewhere, Palestine activists have been putting pressure on the university of Gothenburg to suspend all agreements with Israeli universities. Their most publicized stunt was when they set up camp outside of the university for over six months without a permit (something which few others would've gotten away with).

Eventually they had to leave in November last year, after the Liberal party legally hosted an event on the spot where the demonstrators had set up camp.

On December 26, the boss of the local Palestine activist group, Taha Khatab (himself a Palestinian), sent the headmistress a long-winded e-mail telling her that:
– He was sending her this e-mail as a final warning and a "red light"
– Her and the university board's arrogance and silence could no longer be accepted
– He was expecting a concrete, clear and public answer before January 3, and if she didn't reply before that and the university continued to defend their agreements with Israeli universities, the activists would take comprehensive measures against her and the university board
– Their patience had run out, and their measures would be powerful, visible and impossible to ignore, as well as be noticeable on the local, national and international level.

To the surprise of no one except Taha Khatab and his friends, the headmistress thought it sounded like he was threatening her and got the university's security team involved. Somebody else reported the incident to the police, who announced this morning that they are investigating it.

Yesterday, before it was announced that he was being investigated, Taha Khatab published an article stating that he didn't threaten the headmistress and the university board, and actually just wanted to talk. That final warning stuff was just something he wrote to signal the seriousness of the situation.

I wrote to the headmistress – I didn't threaten her
Debater: They're using security measures to silence us
Also, he's just being bullied because he's a Palestinian, and the headmistress is an Orientalist because she told the activists at one point that she was relieved that they hadn't toppled the building or threatened university staff (WTF based).

and do you have proof he is Houthi?
He only posted video evidence that he traipsed around a Houthi hijacked Japanese ship, assisted in escorting it through the Gulf of Aden, and then vowed “We will bomb all Israeli ships.” He literally has called himself a pirate "قراصنة البهر" in his videos, armed with an AK-47.

wait that's true? that genuinely makes hassan's achievement of talking to hims even more out of this world.

I saw this vlog from the Jimmy Dore show who mentioned then a Israeli women have zero sympathy for children of Gaza.

There's was this comment dropped by a Youtuber who cited a quote worth to share.

@ARCofRESISTANCE

"The biggest insult to the memory of the Holocaust is not denying it, but using it as an excuse to justify the genocide of the Palestinian people." - Norman Finkelstein

"How dare you not show sympathy to the people who want to kill you?"

Jimmy Dore is stupid. Everyone who thinks like this is stupid.

I do not cry for those who raise their children to kill us. They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind

Even if he isn’t a Houthi (and I’ve had some doubts since the beginning that he’s actually an official member and not a wannabe), Hasan thought he was a Houthi, described him as a Houthi pirate and asked him questions about the Houthis with an obvious assumption that he was a member (I don’t have the exact quote, but it was something like “what does your organization, Ansar Allah…”), and he claimed to have access to the hostages. Whether he was actually a Houthi is irrelevant.
If I join a neo Nazi group and then it turns out it was a fed honeypot that doesn’t absolve me of being a Nazi, it just means I’m a Nazi and stupid.

Still, even the worse type are squatters while Palestinian terrorists are mass shooters. In no other situation would people try to claim moral equivalence even though we all agree that they both suck.

Honestly the fact that people try to equate this is horrific. I agree with you. You chase squatters off their land not kill their families.

Jimmy Dore is such a smug retard he’s a Russian intelligence asset who’s not smart enough to realise and ask for money.

Anyone who takes anything he says serious should fill their pockets with bricks and walk into the sea.

Who gives a fuck about the kids of an enemy who are at war with you? Did my grandparents cry about the children of Dresden after Sir Arthur Harris reduced it to ash? No, because they weren’t faggots.
