Ohh, now I get it.

Another one
Video came from this dude who was trying to save friends houses.
I don't suppose it would do any good to prepare by having a generator, a big water tank in your backyard, and a few of those 360' yard sprinklers on your roof hosing down the house itself until the genny or the water ran out?

Seem to remember that Commiefornia doesn't allow people to store water or somesuch bullshit.

In the first video I posted the house seemed to have some kind of outside fire suppression system going on but I don’t know how long such a system could last in a water poor area like that against a raging fire. Unless California got off it’s ass and supplied it from the ocean but the state can barely maintain the infrastructure it has let alone build something new because of bureaucratic corruption and incompetence.

Some western states don't allow water storage, but California is fine with that. Your setup sounds pretty good for a little grass fire but not great for a brush fire.
Only person I know of who actually did this had to say he was building a backyard bunker for when Russia nukes us, and made the entrance door big enough to haul some kind of modular liquid storage boxes(?) in until it was a de facto water tank. Precisely because of said laws on water storage...that even applied if you hired a water tanker to come in from out of state.

So he pulled this ^ and presumably just filled the whole thing slowly and quietly.
