I know you're using the term carefully, but this distinction is why a lot of people prefer the term prescribed burn. You can't ever control a fire (not saying you're suggesting so), but you can design a prescription, and either the burn stays in prescription or it doesn't, but it's still a prescribed burn. It can also clarify expectations of people who don't understand fire's role on the landscape.

As much as I would want to offer my condolences, we're talking about California, so they can piss right off. Some Antifa probably burned the forests again and this time they got a bigger fire than they were hoping for. Nothing of value will be lost if all that remains of LA is ash tomorrow.

Other states have been shipping the homeless to California for years because California promises a safety net. Los Angeles doesn’t have a safety net, they live in tents, illegals live in 10 person tenements, and leftoids live in 10 person trans communes because a two parent household is impossible, unless you’re a multi generational Fairfax Jew with money.

Los Angeles is on fire: always has been.

LA got off easy with the hurricane last year but I guess they forgot to do the blood sacrifice to keep it all from burning down. I do wonder how people in general will react to this since the areas that are burning are primarily wealthier areas.

Also saw that Cali's state home insurance company is allegedly completely fucked with their exposure to all this. So either they tell everyone who lost their home to get fucked or the taxpayers bail em out.

Retarded. There were several things they could have done to prevent a massive fire. Like not defunding emergency management or the fire department. Or doing control burns of brush. Or not filling up the reservoirs for the fire hydrants. Its the results of Leftist policies, nimbys, and activist lawyers.
