I don't think Jackie is insane. I think she likes to escape into a fantasy world larp, rather than face reality, but she isn't insane.
She knows right from wrong. She knows how to change her behavior when she has to.
She is just bad at getting money out of idiots. If she actually believed what she said, she would be so crippled with paranoia that she wouldn't be able to use social media.
Actual schizophrenics generally can't handle social media. For every Empress Gail (a wonderful lady who is able to use social media despite having a mental disorder), you've got countless nutters that can't handle the internet for longer than a few months before burning out.
