Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

Damn, here I was pondering to myself a few weeks ago about the logistics of completely bulldozing LA and SF, Deporting or killing all niggers and non desirables, and making California the beautiful, paradise of a white ethnostate that a state so naturally beautiful deserves to be. Well thanks god, i guess. That might just greatly help with my logistics problem.

Just need to get a video for my TikTok

Fucking chink bugmen lololol.

This might cause a reverberation across the entire country. Banks are shaky enough as is. If the bean-counters are looking at 100s of billions of damages to be slapped on them with the famous work ethic and attitude to deadlines and working below budget Californian construction is? Money printer is going to have to go brrrrrrr.

Only in areas that have been doing appropriate land management. A lot of places go up like steel wool on a 9v because of short sighted fire prevention, so that when a fire does start, the fires burn more intensely than the ecosystem is adapted for.
It's due to many Californians (especially the wealthy ones living up in the now fire engulfed hills) doing everything in their power to prevent land management agencies from doing safe controlled burns. Said resident's reasons for opposing controlled burns include: "I like these trees, it'll ruin the view! The smoke will exuberate my asthma. What about the animals?"

TLDR, let's blame the Sierra Club (who for decades were against controlled burns - they've backtracked in recent years) for this mess.

Why cant they use seawater to put out fires?
I looked it up and the answer is that the salt would corrode firefighting equipment.

That's understandable but you'd think it would be considered the lesser of two evils in a case like this
It is and they are
There’s a fire raging in Pacific Palisades, located on the Pacific coast, and firefighters are taking advantage of that location.

When battling the Palisades Fire, a firefighting plane could be seen scooping ocean water to drop on the flames.

Firefighters normally prefer to use fresh water, but given the growing fires and issues with water pressure in Pacific Palisades, the decision appears to have been made to draw from the Pacific.

With proper maintenance and safety precautions, “seawater puts out fire just as well as fresh water,” Orange County Fire Capt. Larry Kurtz told the Orange County Register.

Honestly, given the chaos, I'm REALLY surprised people aren't just lighting inner city shit on fire for the hell of it. Fire services are crippled, people are pissed, I imagine a dozen down and outs spending their last 20 on gas and molotoving shit inside the city would be all it would take for things to get far worse.
I know many of these buildings normally have sprinklers, but the HYDRANTS are dry, you think sprinklers have anything?

Like if someone really wanted to push to destroy LA entirely, this would be the time.
Quick, somebody start a tiktok trend right now.

Now they're naming fires? Christ, it was bad enough when they had to start naming snowstorms like they do hurricanes because the media had to hype up a blizzard to get ratings (and ad revenue) but now fires?
They normally name them for the place where they start. But with multiple Fire Fronts they have to give them some unique designator for Radio Communications.

I for one am a big fan of the experts in thread pontificating about the state of LA after having taken a family trip to Disneyland once 15 years ago.

Los Angeles isn’t the leftist monolith you’ve dreamt up in your head. Sure, normal people have been out numbered by decades of importing beaners who of course vote for more gibs, but you retards are acting like the place is Portland when anyone who actually spends time in the area can tell you it’s not.
Yes, for all of its issues, the number of Republicans in LA alone probably outnumbers the total number of inhabitants in some states.

The more appropriate way to see this is that California is essentially under enemy skinwalker occupation- Paradise Lost.

The most frustrating part about the state of CA is the potential for it if built up and run right.
You mean the wasted potential because it was dismantled and run into the ground. It was conservative, multiple defense contractors were headquartered there, no gun control until dumbass Ronald Reagan because the Black Panthers were scary, illegals rounded up and deported regularly, food producer because year round growing season, cattle ranches and dairy farms, great schools, affordable homes, plenty of work-and then boomer liberal carpetbaggers destroyed it because the East Coast cities they ruined were too dangerous so they did it again in California.

It’s very true that dropping water isn’t helpful with winds. they try but they need retardant.
here is a good video explaining.

oops.

They/we should have been building desalination plants large scale ~50 years ago! They only have themselves (and eco retards) to blame. We should be building them everywhere there is even risk of water problems, not just CA! A few large scale plants pumping water to the MW and plains could help safeguard food production even.
The Emiratis (and Glowies) have been trying to retool their desalination plants to sieve out trace metals and elements from seawater too.
In Seawater, Researchers See an Untapped Bounty of Critical Metals / Over 40 minerals and metals contained in seawater, their extraction likely to increase in the future

There are going to be a lot of people getting fat payouts down the road who are going to fuck up housing prices in other parts of the country.

I have a lot of empathy for wildfire victims, but any settlements need to be prorated if they leave the state. DO NOT COME HERE!

I've had this exact thought in the back of my mind. I could actually see someone (or many someones) eagerly exacerbating the problem if this goes on for too long, using all the mayhem as cover to destroy more shit after looting everything they can.
Exactly. People stealing hydrants is a very bad sign, stealing them is TECHNICALLY theft of govt property which is a FELONY, but if its that rampant, then the authorities are stretched way too thin. Combine that with angry people with even the most basic bitch weapons, you have a VERY serious problem.
A big part of law and order if people believing in it, if MOST people think its anarchy, the anarchy WILL get worse

Me and mine have far to much at stake for you to make this about our "current political climate". I dont know what kind of man you are but I dont let my neighbors house burn FOR ANY REASON. I dont have all the right, intelligent words right now, entire communities are being reduced to cinders how little do you care about your fellow humans period?

Tragedy should bring out the humanity in you not make you clarify your negative opinions. be the bigger man.
I’m not sure why this was directed towards me, I was trying to say watching people celebrate hammers home how divided we are, not that that is my personal opinion. It isn’t.

I understand your anger . My city is a shithole but the day the competency crisis came to us it was our shithole and I resented people cheering on the damage.
