That would have been what they should have done, yes. But that would have required they pick some 10-30 million dollar mansions -- dozens if not hundreds of them -- and bulldozed them. The DEI fire chief would never allow that, the mayor would never sign off on it, Newscum would never allow it, and the private security forces those mansions have would have shot them if they tried.

Instead, they let it burn and left it all to random chance. Because it's the dumbest fucking thing possible to do, but it also removes all responsibility from the people involved.

Our area has lost power and some have also lost cell towers. I know people who have busted out their apartment complex gates that wouldn’t open without power. No gas stations. No traffic lights. School canceled for the week. It’s retarded. I can’t overstate enough how not connected we are to the affected area.

There is no reason for us to lose power like this, it literally makes no sense. Just gross incompetence.

Apparently they just issued a water boil warning for LA because water pressure is so low residential water is about to run out

Last I heard the boil order was for Pacific Palisades due to the water pressure issues and Pasadena due to wildfire contamination, most other areas in LA are fine.

Maybe houses or something flashing into flames, not 100% sure but radiant heat can warm up a surface that isn't in contact with the flames themselves to the point it can catch fire spontaneously, flashing ablaze suddenly. If it's a gas tank or something it could just explode.

Could be anything else, I think we have some people better informed in this thread, but that would be my guess.
