You forget that after this that insurance never pays out and there are so many rules and permits needed for rebuilding that entire neighborhoods are never rebuilt and people just move elsewhere.
The insurance execs don't need to worry about being shot by someone from LA - the homeowners aren't allowed guns, and the gun owners can't afford homes.

They absolutely are. They seem to only want to insure new construction. Which is ironic considering it's awful. It's going to bite them so hard. The roof is the big thing right now. Simply it being x years old despite condition can get them to fuck you. I've heard of them randomly sending people out to reinspect current policy holders homes and dropping them mid winter because of their roof. Nobody's doing roof work during that time! Just be careful. They are out for blood right now. I'm also not an insurer or anything. Just life experience recently
New construction goes up like a Roman candle compared to legacy construction. The stuff we have in our homes is also much more flammable than old school natural materials.

is this still going? I thought posters were saying it was dying down now. are we still at threat level midnight?
it seems to actually be getting worse and I don't know where those other pictures are from
I'm taking mine from this live cam and the warning reports from this government page, no clue where the others are getting their shit from. Scared this has an actual chance to spread to the heart of LA
