Disaster relief funding can be tied to conditions, like what things they may be used for.
For example emergency housing, infrastructure repair, firefighting equipment purchases etc.
As usual the grifter will try to steal as much as possible, as is the norm during any disaster.
It is pretty much a warzone and a free for all, once money is available to be claimed you will see droves of people try to claim money they do not deserve.

Much more important is what happens after this and if the privatized water industry is seized by the state and if they just let the burned down districts remain that way, or if the fed money will flow into rebuilding on the same moronic plots.

The policies that deal with the issue and prevent future repeats are what will be really interesting to see.

[EDIT] Poor grammar.
EVERY federal dollar has strings attached. Tons of strings. The Left had no problem forcing your 5yo's textbooks to teach gay sex in order to get federal funds so buckle up.

Wait till they realize that even when FEMA funds are allocated it'll still be years before the state is reimbursed by them. That means the state is on the hook to pay for everything up front and then after they file all the paperwork years later FEMA *might* reimburse. I know local govt's still waiting for reimbursements for 2011 events.

Turn the other cheek is human if not a virtue; glee and joy in death and destruction is a sickness.
Turn the other cheek is a religious virtue not the base human condition, glee at people who wronged you suffering is in fact the base human instinct and desire. If happiness at your enemy failing and seeking revenge wasn't the nature human instinct there would be no need to advocate for turning the other cheek.

Politicians should at all times be under threat of capital punishment doled out by their constituents.

They shouldn’t even be allowed locks on their doors.

Podcaster Adam Carolla had to evacuate from his home in Malibu
And did his podcast in a hotel.

A quick background on Adam Carolla, born in California and lived all his life in the LA area.
His politics are middle of the road, or libertarian or based. Hates woke, DEI, political correctness, Gavin Newson, etc.. Adam rarely talks about Trump, but when he does, he supports and likes him.
And Adam Carolla's best friend is Jimmy Kimmel.

that being said, in this vid Adam talks about California politics, DEI and regulation. It's a good insight from a person who doesn't follow California shitlib politics.

Adam's interview of Newsom was legendary, my favorite part was when Gavin claimed niggers, and chinks, didn't have access to banks.
Wait.. some retard actually planted Eucalyptus trees in a fire prone area outside of Australia???
What’s the scale of the eucalyptus issue? Could there be a program over say five years of uprooting them and destroying regrowth behind? Can goats be used to clear brush, even if it’s just in firebreaks?
After the California Tree Culture Act of 1868, they started planting blue gum(Eucalyptus globulus) along highways, by 1870 they started large scale commercial planting.
It's so pervasive, they'll never get rid of them.

This is my issue with people gleeful or saying that these people are rich and can rebuild.
Yes they can rebuild, even easily, but nothing replaces the memories of a home lost to disaster, trust me.
This shit effects people emotionally even after they rebuild
This webzone exists to laugh at people doing dumb shit online, that's the audience.

Lets review:
1) Desert
2) Major tectonic faultline
3) Millions of people
4) Annual wildfires
5) Plant bomb trees for a century
6) Can't figure out basic forestry
7) Never attempt to evacuate until the last possible moment.
8 ) Didn't bother to fill their reservoirs in a year with near record precipitation.

How would our good webzone frens not laugh? The cow tripped on its own shit, and fell down.

Did you know that stupid environmental activists are actually one of the leading reason the US has such a problem with invasive species? They're responsible for shit like the Green Crab epidemic, Lionfish epidemic, the ongoing problems with bamboo in New York, Eucalyptus in California, and more. It's specifically the stupid ones, the ones who have a child's understanding of the natural world, who think nature good, kill thing bad, free thing good, even if freed thing fucking ecologically devastates an entire region.
Environmentalists, specifically those that follow the Green ideology, are some of the most dangerous people in the world when it comes to our relationship with nature. Just as an example as to how this is a global problem:
Back home in Ireland we have a major problem with deer over-population as there's been no natural predators to keep their numbers in check since we hunted wolves to extinction in the late 18th century. This has contributed significantly to major ecological damage in areas where the deer are present as they overgraze, leaving no food for other herbivores as well as killing off budding forests in a country that already has a horrifyingly poor biodiversity level and very few indigenous forests left.

To combat this we literally have the highest number of professional hunters per person in the entire world, but our Green Party has for years been trying to ban the culling of deer for no other reason than because the average Green is a rich Dubliner, who's never seen the countryside in their lives, and they think deer are cute. Should they succeed then this would cause an environmental catastrophe that the island would never recover from. And despite being small the Greens were actually part of our recent coalition government, though this particular issue thankfully never made the agenda as they were too busy importing Arabs and Africans.

The reason why I bring this up is because given what's happened with this disaster I think it's very important that everyone, no matter where in the world you live, needs to be aware of how dangerous these people are and how the influence they wield is significantly greater than their numbers suggest. And even if you don't live somewhere with extreme weather conditions, these people will still absolutely ruin the very Earth around you over 'vibes' if given half a chance.

That's because the people who truly believe this "original sin" of human estrangement from nature also believe that there is no way back without a living sacrifice of the "unworthy"-
They don't believe this. They only believe in climate grifting as told them by the Experts™️, while pretending it makes them and anyone in their thralls Good Human Beings™️.
-that "Nature, red in tooth and claw" and all the creatures across the face of the planet have a moral superiority over humans.
Humans are a blight upon the earth. Statistically, the majority of the species is a Chinaman or a Jeet, and look at how they treat the environment. Visit a national park, and your inner Uncle Ted will come roaring out.

I, for one, prefer the company of trees and forest frens instead.

I saw the video of the Malibu beachfront being completely gutted by fire

Matching it up with Google Streetview is actually quite hard because everything is so thoroughly destroyed, although I did spot one
Malibu1.jpg
Annoyingly some celebrities who lived along the Pacific Highway got their houses blurred out on Streetview so it does make it harder

I don't think wishing peoples death and destruction of their property is a very good indicator of personality, or state of mind. But that's just an opinion of course not supported by any scientific research whatsoever. I heard somewhere upon the news of death and destruction a common reaction was to feel sorry for the victims rather than glee because they perceived the victims to have a point of view different to them (not that I am aware any KF actually knows a single victim or what they think).

I'm unsure that budgets actually prevent low humidity and whether or not it rains, but I could be wrong on that too. Perhaps budgets could prevent it raining on the coast and stop hurricanes also, I'll have to look into that deeper.

Imagine feeling glee as a neighbor loses their home, pets and possibly their life and livelihood because he didn't think like you. What a lovely neighbor you must be! It makes understanding why we saw some groups dancing with joy as people leapt to their death from the towers - not because they knew them, just because they were certain they mustn't think like them (without even knowing them) , and therefore, death was totally OK.

Stare into the Abyss long enough and it stares back. Once you start taking joy in others suffering, it is your impulses controlling you and sending you chemicals to feel satisfaction in your depravation. It is only a next step that you'll start lighting the fires yourself to get your kick, after all they aren't really people of value, right?
Obviously you're buttmad so you're being negrated but I honestly sympathize a lot with what you're saying.

I do not think Californians deserved this, I really don't think many people would ever deserve something like this.

It's important to realize this is almost 100% a combination of the efforts of the incompetent and corrupt politicians that have a rigged system to get them perpetually elected, and the policies they push.

Literally who cares who people died voted for, they probably also voted to do shit to combat the fires and the people in charge chose to ignore/do nothing about it.

They do, in their heart of hearts. Like all humans they want to believe in something greater then themselves, even if that something hates them.

You can prefer the company of whoever you like, even if that makes you a misanthrope; being short-sighted is also a choice.

Turn the other cheek is human if not a virtue; glee and joy in death and destruction is a sickness.
Keep cherrypicking your Bible verses, it won't change anyone's mind who has actually read a Bible:

Jeremiah 51:
1 This is what the LORD says: “See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai.
2 I will send foreigners to Babylon to winnow her and to devastate her land; they will oppose her on every side in the day of her disaster.
3 Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army.
4 They will fall down slain in Babylon, fatally wounded in her streets."

and so on. Jesus was referring to Roman authority; it was the jews who insisted on his execution, not the Romans.
