Emily claims she's innocent because the police couldn't get enough evidence from the compromised crime scene to convict her.
On the other hand, her entire family disowned her because they are pretty sure she murdered Kirstin. I'd say that is evidence enough that she is guilty. Her own family knows she is a murderer.

Really says something about Emily. Rikky, someone arrested and hospitalized and who went to trial for murder is more loved and accepted than Ms. Emily Nicole herself. Imagine just how badly she must have treated her family for them to disown her and not Rikky.
