I never understood this attitude. It's clearly not about taking away people's posting time but a way of publicly shaming someone for behavior the mods find problematic. Plus, maybe someone wanted to spend those six hours posting, you know?

It's a real scummy way of conditioning people while shutting down all criticism of it because 'it's just 6 hours'.

Listen up guys, the moderating staff at Something Awful is far from perfect but they are just normal joes like you, and me. They're just trying to do their best, but at the end of the day they are just human. At least that is my take on it you may disagree and that is your right but it isn't going to change my point of view.
