It does make me scratch my head when a guy is labeled as a lolcow, but the people that obsessively despise him and have him live rent free in their heads are ten times worse in every conceivable regard.

The thing with Grummz is that he's a culture war figurehead on a side that which compared to its opposition, is more difficult to naturally incline oneself to consciously dislike and express opposition towards. The worst the anti-woke side can do is verbally annoy you more than the woke side, but the woke side is the one that generally not only does that more often, but is more likely to, with and without your knowhow, interfere with your entertainment, food, lifestyle, income and general life in both overt and subtle ways. One advantage the anti-woke side has in persuading people about this is the fact that they don't need to put in as much work to relate to you on how and why the shit coming from their enemies suck. Meanwhile, if you talk shit about Rivera or ask how he's possibly the good guy, he'll just assume you already know about Grummz, already hate him, and just invoke his name like a magic incantation, without giving you any real reason as to why you should care or expend any energy in caring or hating on him even a quarter as much as Rivera himself does.. There's a good chance that he'll go "But what about Grummz" without even checking whether you've even heard of the guy. On top of this, Rivera is a faggot leftist who's so out of touch that people like him are taught to hate or like people based entirely on friend/enemy distinction and not what the individual has ever said or done.

To this day, the given reasons to hate Grummz by leftists mostly include the following: "He's old", "He's right wing", and not much else. People on Grummz' side ironically have more genuine reason to criticize, oppose, and make fun of him, but that ought to be the job of the people who hate him him to inform us.
