This was here on the first night of the fire - if the timestamp is correct, that seems to be several hours after the evacuation order was given for that area. I'm sympathetic that fire moves a lot faster than anticipated but that woman is very lucky someone was still about to help her. The number of videos I've seen where people don't leave until literal embers are blasting them in the face is bizarre.

The rich people who lost their homes will move to areas that are less fire prone, driving up the cost of living for everyone else.
