A quick search did not bring up many Parker Flys for sale. A separate Reddit forum advised amother Parker Fly owner not to sell, as they are rarely on the market and are an investment guitar. Prices for that 1997 Strat preowned are around $1,000-$1,500, AFAICT. He might get around $5,000 for both, and then spend three grand on exactly the same type of guitar he already owns, leaving him two grand clear, which he will fritter away while begging for charity.

Yeah Parker guitars went bust some time ago, they made unique carbon fibre guitars with piezo pickups, very exotic instruments that didn't find a market at the time but are now very collectable. I can't see ugly Strandbergs keeping their value quite as well, they're fad guitars and the market for them is already over-saturated as people are getting over the Djent thing, a style that Dave's 6-string model isn't suited to anyway.

That Les Paul DC is ugly as shit, but I've always had a personal hatred for Gibson doublecuts so that might just be my bias.
