None of this is about satisfying Trump. It's about the winds changing in general. Normies are peaking en masse and these businesses are going to try and pacify them in whatever way that makes sense in the current moment.
This is the real reason. The media will keep saying it's for Trump when rather it's Trump's voter base. People aren't happy with fact checkers anymore and these companies need to do something about it.

It is more annoying to hear the blackpill speak.
"Even if you win, you still lose".
There have been corrupt, conniving politicians for all of human history. There have been wars. There have been thefts. There have been riots. Cities have been abandoned and empires have fallen. If anything short of eternal, guaranteed peace, prosperity, and power is "losing," then everyone's always been "losing," but then your definition of losing is useless.

Losing in this definition means that Fink/Soros will just make a phone call and everything you advocate for will be overturned. Giving them almost god like power and influence. If you ever need a hype man, get a RW schizo activist to talk about you. Because they can give you detailed lore about how you can part the dead sea with a phone call and pull off almost omnipotent acts of politics. /pol/ and the rest of the dissident right can make your backstory really fucking sinister with Taco stands being used to flush kids down a secret toilet in to a pipeline of child rapists. Not even the finest WWE writers room could come up with the type of hype man routine as RW spastic on twitter and 4chan. Reality is that they never live up to the hype.
Then you get cope of "Well they switched sides, you still lose". Everyone expects slimy CEOs to switch sides. Take Zucc, right now i am listening to him spill his guts to Joe about how the Democrats ordered censorship. He and the rest of the coward CEOs are bending the knee to the new administration, who won basically unchecked power.
If they were all that confident that Fink/Soros all the rest could shield them, they would be at their houses right now sucking their dicks. But they are not, they are snaking on the Democrats one by one.

there's this earthquake researcher on twitter I check in on once in a while, who is convinced that a magnitude 9 or 10 earthquake is on the way that will destroy every coastal city in the pacific.

At this point I've given up hope that it''l happen, but it's still fun to hop.
If it happens it is God's wrath and there is no other funny and convincing explanation.

Disney isnt doing this.
I know Disney isn't but Disney isn't even as massive as it was pre-Facebook. Facebook/Meta is pretty much the largest company I can think of that has the most impact by doing decisions like these. Other companies will very likely follow in their footsteps.

I just included Disney as basically the 2nd most massive company I could think of besides Meta/Facebook.

Politics is downstream from biology. The most seismic political event of the last 100 years without question has been the invention of the birth control pill. Giving women total reproductive autonomy has so many far-reaching implications for society that I think we still haven't completely come to terms with what it will mean.

So while it’s nice to have some political opinion and use yer dang free speech to convey that opinion to another, the real way to act politically would be to alter our biology. I dont know exactly how our biology might be altered to bring about some other political shift as vast as the pill, but you’re totally correct when you note the increase in right-leaning sentiment in men who begin some form of physical training.
The easiest way to achieve a nearly as vast political shift is with another pill, but one for men. Granting men more reproductive autonomy, namely the ability to decide which woman has his kids. Which will greatly shift male-female dynamics. The effects of this men's pill will:
  • Change the dynamics of dating, courtship and marriage
  • Enabling him to decide when she has his baby (as it always should be)
  • Forces women to treat men better or never have a hope of children via traditional and preferred means
  • Women who refuse to treat men better will be forced in to lesbianism (or perpetual singledom without children)
  • Increased marriage rates as men are able to find women worth marrying
  • Shift the politics of the nation right as married women with children vote more conservatively than their single childless counterparts
  • Decrease the number of unwanted/not his idea babies - making men more likely to want to be engaged in their children's lives
  • Put an end to the welfare state because there are no more ghetto queens with a dozen babies and baby daddies
  • Destroy solid democrat voting blocks over a few generations (namely blacks)
Now of course this isn't the ultimate solution (that would be the artificial womb and the ability of men to have children free of a woman's input), but it would shake up society, both domestically and on a global scale. Placing more of the relationship power in the man's hands. Which is why I would fully expect this pill to be banned in cucked countries like Canada, the UK, or France.

I don't think a male pill would have this effect. The reason the female pill was so politically effective was it divorced sex from the institution of marriage. Women were able to have 'responsible' sex for themselves without risking a lifelong commitment to a child. Any male birth control pill would just maintain this separation, perhaps exacerbate it. And men don't carry children anyway, so the risk to men would remain low because they can always run off.

While both a pill for men (already in the works) and artificial womb will certainly effect male-female relationships, the more immediate technology will be sexbots. Robot sex eliminates the risk of STDs, unwanted pregnancy, #MeToo, and accidentally hooking up with a trans. Wanting sex is about 90% of the driver for men to even date women in the first place.

AI-driven artificial vaginas exist already, and AI-LLM girlfriend programs for conversations. We're probably less than 5 years away from Japan making a full sized robot that can have decent sex and talk with LLM-driven dialogue. If it's cheaper than a new car, it'll be cheaper than a typical girlfriend.

Competition for men already drives most female behavior. Once they're competing against sexbots, it's sort of game over. Even more so once artificial wombs become affordable.

Futurama will be proven right once again.

I forgot Mueller was a thing.
Kind of amazing isn’t it? They pushed and idolized his name as the guy who would imprison Trump. Everywhere you went on social media you saw memes about how “mueller is coming.”
And what happened “Trump did not conspire with Russia, lol goodbye”
There’s a meme of the NOOOOOO lady holding mueller like Superman but I can’t find it.

I lost track of this dude a while ago. He's high strung on the topic but I don't think he's insane.
It's been a while since he's posted a comprehensive document laying out his reasoning and the evidence he's provided - such as accurately predicting changes in earthquake patterns and pointing out other earthquake researchers who seem to have gone silent.

They deliberated the TikTok case a little more in the courts, and... well, it looks like the judges are winning

And call me schadenfreudic, but I really wanna see how this'll affect Zoomers and everything... honestly it might turn out to be more muted than we all think since from when the ban TikTok movement first started, during the intervening years, it turned out Gen Z would be willing to readily boycott / mass-exodus from a major platform, as in Twitter/X (also Reddit for a brief moment, and arguably even Facebook/IG/Threads as of a few days ago) -> BlueSky (and a bunch of others that died down).

So far the 2 major competitors to TikTok are YT Shorts (which was launched during the intervening years) and IG Reels. Maybe a revived Vine which Elon's tinkering with behind the scenes.

Still, there seems to be a lot of malding about it on TikTok itself. Enjoy the circus for a few more days I guess.
