Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

Not sure if linked to the fires or not. Looked on the map and Tustin is near where some of the fires are and it seems some looters may have taken advantage.

If you haven't read any of the articles, he actually decided he needed to have that house while also having access to a Victorian era style mansion the governor of Cali is apparently allowed access to during their term.
You obviously haven't read them either because the last governor to live in that actual Victorian (which is in a shitty neighborhood on a tiny city lot) was Ronald Reagan, and he only lived there for a couple of months before leasing a different house while he had a new governor's mansion built that no governor actually ever lived in.

Newscum is a fuckwit but this is one thing you can't fault him on. Hell, when Arnie was governor he didn't even have a residence there, instead flying in a couple times a week.

when Arnie was governor he didnt
Arnie was and is rich as hell and wouldn't have had any reason to, but I can see your point. Doesn't change the fact Newsom is especially egregious with his spending while he's been in office on top of being corrupt as can be. Guy's been through several multi million homes in the past 6 years. The 9.1 million home isn't even in Sacramento and it's supposedly where he actually lives with his family.

Edit: He moved there after purchasing the 3.7 million one that actually is in Sacramento - that's the Fair Oaks home. 9.1 mil is in Kentfield, a richie rich community 19 ish miles North of San Fran and over the bay.

There are serious questions being asked about why a huge artificial reservoir uphill of and for palisades was offline. If i is was offline for some stupid reason then expect even more hell to pay.

I see some are also now "asking questions" about the red flame retardant being dropped from the air on areas around the fire. That harmless stuff is already restricted from use around "sensitive" areas unless to directly protect human life. (like a firestorm rushing down on FFs or something) I really hope this kind of shit makes normies start questioning the obsessive adherence to deranged eco and animal extremists demands that we see from elites and governments in places like CA. Before they lead society into ruin.

From two of my multiple trips in an elevator today:

[Riding with a young woman and an older couple who have just been outside, dusted with snow]
Woman: How is it out there?
Snowy Man: It’s not too bad, not as cold as yesterday, not as much wind. Of course it IS snowing.
Me: If it’s not one thing it’s another.
Snowy Man: Well at least it’s better than California!
[all chuckle abashedly]

[Riding with a pleasant old guy using a walker]
Old Guy: When I was younger I used to listen to The Beach Boys, I thought California was paradise! Now it’s not looking so good!
Me: Yeah not at the present moment.
[both chuckle abashedly]

i see plenty of people here crying about all the pricessless one of a kind historical artifacts or paintings or other rich people stuff that must have gotten lost in the fires. Here's my problem with that, the fires have been getting closer every year and between that and global warming anyone living in LA must already know they're on borrowed time. Its your own fault you didn't fuck off to somewhere this shit doesn't happen.

Like only a handful of places in LA will catch fire, try living on the other side of the freeway or something, if you have stuff that can't be replaced.
Tustin is in Orange County and nowhere near the fires.
its fucking insane how much shit is being blamed on these fires, a guy got robbed in fullerton and people blamed the fires.

I mean there's also "not cheering on destructive foresty practices for feel-good slacktivism about muh environment" but that might be a stretch.

Tbh I've always been a bit averse to blaming natural disasters on God or whatever, even satirically. Does God have a grudge against Florida?
i thought the same. and Job makes it clear sometimes things happen not necessarily for the reason you think ie not every stepped lego or hot coffee spill on your nice shirt is because your immoral and not all boons are because you were moral. i really am turning in this specific case though just from how targeted to the la and liberal area california hubris all this was especially at this particular time and just how persistent the fire seems , along with the winds and now potentially an earthquake on top of it all

Alright. I was a little bit on the fence about if this is some sort of divine intervention or not. After all there are still good people in LA. But if this is true, and a quake does actually hit the area then I'll be 100% fucking convinced.

We can take the occam's razor to most of the questions and just say "This is California". The leaderships is retarded and incompetent, as well as malicious, and so is everyone beneath them. Add in a bit of diversity hires and the wonderful locals(illegals, communists, tweakers, homeless) and you got a recipe for a beautiful bonfire.

Tustin is in orange county. And has been closed since before I shipped to boot camp.

Edit: I'm a retard. It closed in 99, not 95. But Tustin is just under 60 miles, and it is all concrete jungle on the route to there.

2nd edit: 🥷
