It’s not even that she’s just over feeding her (which she is) it’s that she only feeds her dry food, by her own admission.

Cats who live on dry food diets can have a fuck tonne of health problems. They’re obligate carnivores, they need meat to thrive, and they won’t get enough moisture from a dry food only diet and that will fuck their kidneys in the long run.

I’m sure Steph just sees the empty bowl and tops it up, thinking she’s an excellent cat owner.

willfull ignorance due to laziness. she doesn't seem to know the first thing about taking care of cats and probably just does what her parents did with peetie, which is just top off his bowl with any cheap dry kibble (although i think/hope peetie was on softer food towards the end, since he had half his teeth removed). i remember when she first tried getting her own cat and posted something like "food won't be a problem because i can just get cat food at the gas station next door." the cheapest, shittiest "food" for cats, sold at twice the price. she'll sit around all day looking for dahmer murder pictures or spells and rituals to do with her new beau loki but won't take time to research how to take care of her "daughter." she's a smart bxy. we don't know what brand of food she's giving siggy but i wouldn't be surprised if it was $10 3lb bags of meow mix from the gas station. she's the worst catkin ever, if she still identifies as that anyway. cat demons have been out for a few years now in staph lore, it's allll about viking fags now.

as for what she'd do if cans of cat food were magically at her door step, realistically she'd probably think it was vandalism at first but then think it was a blessing from loki. i hope she'd give it to siggy, but she still might believe she's spiritually a cat, sooo....

Late, but I always get a good chuckle whenever she flexes about having a KF thread or the Womb Wizard stuff and people react with “wait, what, that was you?!”

The few times she talks about actually interacting with her, it’s almost always her scolding Siggy for doing normal cat things like wanting to explore. No memories of Siggy being silly and how cute it is, or how she had a “conversation” with her. She didn’t actually want a pet, she wanted a mascot. She did similar with Peetie. The most she ever did with him besides fattening him up was making cringe baby talk posts about his “mawmy” on a Twitter account. Sad all around.

I think it’s laziness, and also because she’s selfish and her spending habits are that whack. Getting both wet and dry is too much work for her between choosing and buying. Wet food is not only more expensive per can but also needs to be purchased more often than a big ass bag of dry. Why buy two different types of food for her cat when she can load her on dry (likely the cheapest crap, too), and then blow more money on overpriced junk food and toys for herself?

I wonder what would happen if she suddenly had to pay a full rent, or a reduced one that wasn’t $13. While $13 rent would be a godsend to many people, I think it’s harming her in the long run because she’s taking it as a justification to blow the rest on pure junk. I could see her e begging even more often than she does now (and probably get scammed even more often too) because she never learned the value of money or keeping a budget if $13 rent is high to her.

Staph doesn't see how abnormal she is compared to other people because the only person that exists for her is herself. Which seems odd when combined with the characteristic NPD burning compulsion to get attention by any means possible, but again, narcissists live in a completely different reality with completely different rules. Only narcissists understand how narcissists think.
