https://www.cheknews.ca/pit-bull-attack-near-nanaimo-injures-two-children-and-one-woman-450395/

Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

I have actually seen this guy and his family. - Obese wife and the dude is covered from neck to toes in shitty tattoos. Basically, if you were to conjure up a mental image of what a White trash Pitbull breeder looks like, it's him.

Correct, dogs were only ever used as distraction for the boar so the human hunters could then move in and kill it. There are only a few wild animals capable of killing adult boars (most other predators only kill the immature/baby boars), namely wolves (in large enough packs), tigers and komodo dragons funnily enough (having a bite that causes severe bleeding and infection helps a lot, that and being quite massive with thick skin).
Pitbulls may be tough looking and solid, but they would 100% get gored to death and/or violently thrown around. They do not have the smarts of a wolf to dodge and have an attack pattern, nor the sheer strength and power of a tiger/komodo dragon to just go for the neck slam them.
Hog hunters put kevlar vests on their pit bulls to reduce the risk. They have dogs that chase the hog, then they send in the pibbles to grab and hold so the hunters can kill them.

Kill the hogs, I mean, not the pibbles.

Honestly, mowing them down with 50 cal full autos from a helicopter always seemed more sporting to me.

Edit for typos

They do care if its their horrifically inbred stud. Those fucking things are royalty.
Yeah but actual dogmen don't lose control of their dogs. Those dogs bring in a ton of money. As much as I hate animal abuse I'd rather live next to a dogfighter than a pitmommy. The dog fighter will hide his dogs bc they are an investment. Pitmommy will slap an Amazon Service Dog vest on it and drag it to the nearest playground

Pitbulls are fueled with the 'wanna fuck shit up' juice but boars..those things are fueled by god's anger and hatred and will take you down to hell personally
I know the vid he's talking about. The boar immediately ripped the dogs intestines out and stretched them across the ring. Here's the thing tho...the fucking dog didn't go down. It was still running around barking at the hog.

Just saw this ad on reddit.

The perfect companion for your pit with "separation anxiety," a blow-up white girl doll. Even has stump arms.

Are kongs, lick mats, Bob Marley, CBD, and Food Network not good enough for their anxious dog? I just put on Guy Fieri and my dog chills out the second she hears the mayor of Flavortown talk.

We had dogs when I was growing up. They didn't have to be locked up when we were at school/work. They would just chill in the house until we got home. Occasionally got into the trash or something.

I miss normal dogs that you didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for.

Seems like the choices now are between a metaphorical or a literal arm and leg.
