I didn't realize that they had gotten so large in the past few days. Combined those two fires alone have burned through almost 60 square miles. As a further point of comparison that's about equal to the land area of the country of Lichtenstein or the British Virgin Islands.

What we're pushing back on is the idea that all of California is like LA and the Bay Area and that we should let a bunch of faggots who moved here in recent decades control the entire state.

I mean, that's fair considering even conservative states inversely have their blue shit holes, but there are people who unironically believe California is just one election away from being MAGA country. assuming this is in any way accurate, it is doubly impressive given how many top-tier universities California has on offer that siphon in smarter people from other states. You have a bunch of little black holes for geniuses in your state and still manage to rank third-last. Phenomenal.

We have officially reached 101 fires (presumably active all at once). lol at those emergency responses compared to the death count. I bet the death toll will reach the triple digits by the time this is all over.
