The nuclear family has been the standard family configuration in much of Northwestern Europe since the late middle ages. There is a marketing concept of the 'nuclear family' which is what I think you're thinking of, but it is also an actual anthropological concept. Even 700 years ago, the English and Dutch would have found four generations living under one roof to be strange.
It's not just your opinion, it's fact. Jim Browning outright states in many videos the jeet scammers who rely on cold calling or sending fake company emails (for example they pretend to be the IRS and claim that you're eligible for a tax return) get their data from legit websites that sell their customer info, for example Facebook, Paypal, Google, all of them sell your data if you use them. Now some of them get that data second hand, from more successful and larger scamming outfits, while those larger "companies" just buy them directly. No doubt that the larger "companies" have connections to a jeet on the inside working in the States who makes the sale go down smoother to the scamjeet back in India. It's an extremely lucrative business too, I remember watching one video of his where he unmasked an entire company and the owner and head of the company lived in opulence, he was probably more loaded than even drug kingpins in some other countries. The bosses take the lion's share of the profits but it's worth even being the lowest level of jeet manning the cubicle because even just closing a few "sales" a month means that you can live a much better life than 90% of the subcontinent. Hell, because of that there's even jeets who do all this shit themselves, there's legitimately FREELANCE SCAMMERS in India with how developed the "industry" has become in that asshole of the planet.
There is also the trouble that the nuclear family is necessitated by the fragmentation of work opportunities. Under the present economic system, the best labor opportunities require the willingness and abilities to relocate. A multigenerational household would only makes sense if the elderly parents followed one of their children to the location of their work, as opposed to the child(ren) being tied to the parents. Family businesses employed extended families just aren't the norm anymore, and frankly this model of economy couldn't work for a wide variety of industries that require hundred to thousands of specialized workers with diverse skillsets.
They truly are the Great Unifier. Everyone puts aside their differences when faced with the common enemy.
I've heard from people that jeets have an information collection industry of their own which is less refined and much worse than what silicon valley does. The essential idea is whenever you register for a service, they ask you for a name, phone number and email id. Jeets get this information manually upfront through forms or calls and then turn around and sell this info as plaintext data to third parties, say an insurance firm or a labor outsourcing service or whatever. Then these people harass said customers further and possibly sell the same to somebody else. All of this is apparently under the table and sounds pretty fucking vile. It doesn't sound like silicon valley "if you choose the service you agree to T&C", a lot of these data collection schemes are within the government industries and they're mandated to collect citizen data cause they're the fucking government. It's like selling your PI to a black market guy or the taliban, fucking insane. I think that's what jim browning describes and it's sorta what happens in these scam centers as well. Jeetland should be nuked tbh if they cannot be colonized again.

from an economic standpoint thats retarded. "buy land they aren't making any more of it" was a pretty well known concept to people, and with the GI bill and mortgage rates under 2.5% you'd have to have been a fool not to buy a house in the suburbs in the 1940s/50s. also having 4 generations living in the house blows, between the infants yelling and causing a rucus and the elderly shitting everywhere and the lack of places for "quality time" you end up feeling like shit most of the time.
exactly, people don't realize how washing clothes and cooking food and cleaning in a pre-machine era was a hassle, if you know any families with 4+ kids you rarely see many with both parents working legit 40 hour jobs for this reason, imagine how much more work it was before you had stuff like fridges or washing machines and you had to go to the market near every day.

Yup, they do that too, another thing they do that I didn't mention is buy info from data breaches and then spread it amongst themselves. These scams are very much a numbers game and have an abysmal record of success which is why these data collection jeets are another integral part of India's scamming industry. If a scammer gets even 1 "sale" from a list of 1000 personal details that were just purchased, then it was already worth it.
Ya know this got me thinking of another aspect of why jeet hatred has exploded into something so ubiquitous and so low-key mainstream
