I think this is some kind of gayops, perhaps a way to drum up liberals in the Central Valley because it went hard for Trump.

Alot of talk about DEI, but no examples.
Which fire agency? Federal, state, local? From top level to the crew digging a fireline?
What agency in charge of land management?
Where is the DEI occuring?
There are more than a dozen agencies involved at this point, from local to federal and now, abroad.
If DEI was the problem, then wildland fire crews wouldnt be undermanned, but would be over staffed and over funded. The opposite is true, not enough certified fire fighters, and grossly under funded. Most of the public is not willing to be brave enough to become a wildland firefighter. But complaining about problems on the internet for ass pats, is easier than finding real world solutions.

Obviously this is unpopular, but cannot rejoice or take pleasure in all of these people losing their homes and being hospitalized and some outright losing their lives.
According to a lot of people in LA, my midwestern state is full of inbreds and dumb farmers and we all voted the wrong way, in fact I voted the wrong way according to them and so did most of family.
There’s been a widespread disaster here that’s still not cleaned up and no one has taken blame for it, even though there’s a very obvious culprit that did it through both negligence and cutting essential costs.
It’s probably never going to be cleaned up because it directly affected a poor and rural area, and of course we’re all mad at that but the government and FEMA is never going to help us like they will LA.
With that being said- not going to try to match the average LA inhabitants energy and say they deserved it because they’re liberals that would wish death or prison on anyone who lives and thinks differently from them.
They’re morally bankrupt and retarded for wishing that, we’re built of better stuff.
Don’t live in the South anymore but it’s like southern hospitality, people help if they see that someone needs it, whether they “deserve” help or not, it’s in their culture and society.
Fuck LA as a power structure and center of deviance, but not the same for the people who live there.
Of course I’m not going to mourn over the 1% losing one of their many mansions, but it doesn’t feel right to take pleasure in it either, that’s something I’ve been actively aware of.
This is a natural (helped along by man made) disaster, it’s not like the feds are coming in and doing unconstitutional searches and confiscating houses.
Even if I live in a beige suburb and not the only worthwhile city LA lol, not going to act the same as them.
Just pray for the devastated, pray for everyone to recover, pray for their families that are going to be stretched thin helping, and pray that the rest of the country won’t be hit hard financially because of something that happened across the US.

I listen to broadcastify apps and I hear reports of structure fires.
Both can be true, but I wish I didn't get the feeling information is being deliberately suppressed.
(and when one takes into account how truly horrible it was a few days ago when the winds were pushing the fire along at warp speed while the firefighters couldn't get their aircraft up safely I guess it IS better)
