Given the state IDW is in as a company, I'd imagine it has more to do with trying to plug any losses stemming from piracy than it is enforcing 'the agenda'.
I don't think IDW sonic has had gone an entire year without an issue being delayed. Even when they stay on schedule, they only release bimonthly on average. Not even that, considering they had a big break earlier this year. It isn't just sonic, their last years of holding the Transformers license was equally as abysmal.

Archie might have been legally inept, but they ran two monthly sonic comics simultaneously with no issues to my understanding. Heck, SEGA could probably could license Sonic to some publisher in Japan and they'd probably have better consistency then IDW. They'd probably be cheaper too.

Yep. A Sonic series, a Knuckles series, and at one point a Tails series (although that was short lived),

Although this was pre-adventure. I stopped reading the comics once the Sonic Adventure issue(s) came out, so idk if they still did this.

The Sonic Universe series was published from Feb 2009 to Jan 2017 and dealt with side stories which were mostly non-sonic related. Unlike IDWs offerings, they're a mostly fun reads and interweave well with the main comic. Also unlike IDW, they were pretty consistent with publication. If the sonic wiki is accurate, I only counted 3 missed months during the winter of 2015-2016. And yet, they made up for lost time by then releasing two comics in the same month (August 2016). IDW seem like amateurs in comparison.

But then they might as well be amateurs given what they let their employees post. Goon bait on professional account, I'm surprised nobody got fired for that.

Tracey Yardley has posted edits of official Shadow artwork where the character's viscerally shitting himself and he's still kept on for the comics.
Image wouldn’t load due to technical difficulties but I also remember the tweet saying something about a 5th inhibitor ring hidden in his anus but I don’t got the tweet on me.

I just realised that it does the same thing for me when I launch it through Steam, I guess I've always ran the game from the Mod Launcher. So I guess that's my advice.
I've tried that. In fact its how I ran the game since I first got it.

The only time I ever ran it through Steam in fact was specifically to try and get rid of the configurator because I wondered if the mod manager was doing something.

I've also tried just browsing to the game's install directory and trying the executable files located there... both of them still bring up the game's configuration thing on launch though.

If you're having issues uploading directly to the farms, post a direct link to the posts. Don't forget to archive them too.

TL;DR: SatAM got axed because DIC was selling animation cels behind Sega's back and pissed them off, Sega owns EVERYTHING made for SatAM and AoStH

>No SATAM season 3 because of DiC stupidity
I'm both mad and not surprised at the same time.

Ixis Naugus saga never ever (:_(
It's kind of funny to think that the Archie series was rebooted and eventually canceled during a time that the series was actually getting good when historically most of it was pretty fucking awful, all due to SEGA's legal incompetency. And now we learn that SatAM, which was good from the start and through out it's run, was axed because SEGA was to competent with legal matters. It's like SEGA is cursed to either shoot themselves in the foot or be blighted by silly ass lawsuits that shouldn't be a thing.

In other Sonic news, Youtube movie/comic reviewer Grace Randoph (IDK if she had an lolcow thread on this forum; but she's definitely an lolcow. Like, she gave the Mario movie a bad review because she thought Bowser had toxic masculinity and deserved to be MeToo'ed) accused Shadow the Hedgehog of being a kiddy diddler 🤦‍♀️ Obviously, Grace Randoph was brutally mocked for said retarded hot take.

Anyway, her accusation has also sent Shadow fans on Tumblr/TikTok/Youtube into a tizzy.
