By modernizing their advertising by taking advantage of things current teenagers enjoy? You're implying that military advertising created the things teens are into. That's putting the cart before the horse, it's the things teens are into that influence how the military advertises itself.
Also, the reason they "met their recruiting goal" this year is because they lowered their expectations. It's better than last year, but better than last year is still bad.

I can also see Trump arresting college "muh genocide" protestors, telling governors to send in the National Guard to clear out their tent. Biden permitted all the far left agitators to run amock; I doubt they'll be happy when Trump tries to rein them in.

Well Biden already did his expected pardon- is doing some kinda farewell address, but for all intents and purposes is DONE running shit (or pretending he was even doing that)
After Kamala came out to drunk panhandle after putting her campaign in crazy amounts of debt, the Dems basically said "yeah your campaign is over and we don't have to pretend ur amazing anymore byeeeee - also BTW you have to confirm orange cheetos win, we're not sparing you that after all that shit you pulled"
Obama never wanted Kamala anyway so he's peeved, Pelosi is busy dealing with her injuries, AOC is possibly busy being pregnant, Buttigeig is busy trying to deal with California on fire, so the only notable dem not busy that I can think of is Ben Shapiro. Walz is relieved to go back to Minnesota, and will likely stay there going forward.
There isn't really a strong dem figure to rally around right now. I'm sure someone will try to do something really dumb on the 20th anyway. But it'll prob be other mental morons who suddenly feel compelled to kill Trump to "save the world" again.
I kinda hope it's more like pussy hat marches and viral howl to the heavens salt. But dems have riled up their crazies a little too much in the last 12 months...

Right now there is no one to organize and pay for the "spontaneous public uprising" because the Dems are in a civil war. Each side is trying to blame the loss on the other so they can finally seize power and lead the party to it's glorious future.
Whether the Progressives or Moderates win it don't really matter. I think it will take a decade for the Democrats to get their shit back together. You have to remember the sole unifier of Orange Hitler will be gone so the Big Tent party problems will start to pop up again. The Dem's embraced so many groups who all have very different idea's of what and how should be done and of course you have the Party Elites who will still want to stay in control.
All in all we are in for good time over the next 8 years. Unless the Dems can scrape up a Trump of their own.
