I still cannot believe Supercrzy tried to rob a train.
I feel like TBS is kinda done now, I have skipped the last few weeks and quite a lot since Meerket got his new job. Meerkat is new age Tevin, he just had fun with it but DSP eventually jades everyone around him but I would rather have Snood as a panelist than Steve. The idea of talking for 10 hours is insane and shows your out of touch self-importance but also that you believe your own lies. Just because you had a back injury does not mean you are a Spinal specialist because hey you would actually be working in that regard.

What is there even to talk about for 10 hours? "DSP had a minor back injury and blew it out proportion to play the victim, as always." There, 10 seconds gets you the gist of it. Diving deep into analyzing his bullshit is giving DSPs lazy lies and attention whoring way too much credit.

Give Steve a break; this is likely all he has left to give his life value. No one would listen to him talk about psychology unless it's in the context of DSP.

TBS was not started and does not work as ALT, Steve, and random guest hosts. ALT is no dummy. I hope he sees this. In my opinion the most pressing issue is Steve, not the random guest hosts. Steve SUCKS, every week, and never misses a show (because he wants the 20% or whatever of the superchats). Most of the guests are good to great. ALT, Ludwig, Snood as permanent. Steve once a month or exited. Sam and Meerkat open-door policy.

I'm sorry, 10 hours!?
How could somebody subject themselves to even producing a video as monotonous as this? I haven't followed Phil in months as he's a sad, boring man. Seeing the amount of time these people dedicate to him is absolutely insane. Isn't Steve supposed to be some psychologist? If so, then actually put your skills to good use instead of dedicating half your time to a man whose most notable achievement was jacking off on stream.

I listened to the entire Steve of the Dead video over the past few days. It's actually not horrible, at least compared to all the other garbage slop on his channel. But that might be because he has been editing it for years apparently.
It does NOT need to be 10 hours long. It could have easily been 40 minutes and it's a shame that's it's so long because it actually does a pretty good job of making sense of the lore of DSP's back. The first 2/3 is examining clips with random segments of him in between. He claims it has to be 10 hours long because of "All DSP's lies" but by halfway through the video he is repeating the same points more than once.
Some of the Detractor in-joke references are so cryptic at least to me that I don't even understand the point of certain parts. He shouts out specific detractors that I never even heard about like they would be watching this video and hear that exact part and understand it, Maybe that's true. But as a person that hasn't been into DSP lore for many years it just came off as very strange like parts of the video were only for his friends.
I don't agree with about half of his personal criticisms about DSP and half the "lies" he says are lies just seem like DSP being a bumbling inconsistent retard. I don't think he's making it up to get people to feel bad for him, or if he is there is no way to prove that through clips alone. I don't care if you have a degree, does the Goldwater Rule not apply to Britbongs?
I do agree with his assessment of DSP's physical condition and that it wasn't that bad. He should not have any issues or his "lifestyle changes" should have made it so he can be a normal healthy male for his age and not a crickety old man with 'Muh bad bACK'
The best part of the video was when he pulled out his supply of opiates. That's when it all made sense to me, He's tripping balls!

I showed this video to some friends unfamiliar with anything about DarkSydePhil and got some interesting results.
First of all they were confused. They asked why the whole thing was ten hours long and refused to watch any of it. I had to convince them to stomach it for context's sake and that should tell everyone that no one likes 'Philtent' except for people in the vortex. I didn't even say anything to them that would plant my opinions about Detractors and on their own, through first impressions, they thought Steve was schizophrenic.
We tried to watch at least thirty minutes. I couldn't keep them for two before they gave up and asked for a TLDW. In the simplest of ways I told them: "DSP is a Youtuber that is really bad at every game he plays. He is really old and lies about everything and e-begs everyday." They then asked a lot of things about why anyone watches or gives him money. And to that I had no answer cause I knew their ears would melt.
For an hour I drip-fed them DSP trivia until they started to get the shape of it. Kept it REALLY simple. Bad at games, bad with money, has a following, is overanalyzed.
So we watched more Steve and almost got them to fifteen minutes before they needed another break. By the way I shouldn't have to point it out but it is really bad if normal viewers need to take physical breaks from a video. Continuing. They asked more about Steve. Why he was talking about this guy's back? How did he record this without his computer bricking? Is he writing on his basement walls? Is he okay? Things like that. All unbiased. Didn't tell them anything about Doody or Snort cause I didn't want to influence their thoughts.
After a while I could not get them to watch anymore of this video. I finally asked what they thought and the answers were shocking:
"I think it's weird."
"I don't get it."
"It all sounds dumb."
"I feel tired."

Trashcan me to hell and back for this:
I don't mind Steve sperging out, I put it on 2x and it's fine.
TBS is a perfect soundtrack for cooking dinner and doing dishes.
The guests are all okay (even Indrid), but I prefer the original all-four chemistry.
I enjoy all of the songs and call-ins - DarkSydeDrill in particular is very talented.
