He's an extremely stupid man and doesn't understand that by the point your dental issues are requiring intervention, you're not talking a few grand, you're talking tens of thousands of dollars to fix what you fucked up.
Humans are somewhat lucky in that we get two sets of teeth, but once you're an adult, you have your final set of teeth. Once those are gone, you're fucked.
Zach is one of the stupidest motherfuckers of all time. The Judgment Snake has decided to take his teeth. He can suck some Judgment Snake dick.
ETA: BRUSH! FLOSS! You will never regret doing this. You will never be on your deathbed as a toothless idiot dying of sepsis and thinking "I wish I'd spent less time brushing and flossing."
Honestly, at a certain point just giving up and getting the remaining teeth removed and going for dentures is the smart play - certainly it can save you a lot of agony from infected or broken teeth once you're doing that poorly. I know a lot of people who have gotten dentures "early" (30s-40s) for various reasons and they've all had their health and lifestyle improve once they gave in and got it done. It's seen as a last resort for a reason and if you
can save your teeth you should, but dental surgery and denture design has come a
long, long way from the stereotype of obvious fake teeth flying out of an old woman's mouth every ten minutes or whatever. Nine times out of ten, unless you're a dentist yourself, you wouldn't even notice if someone was wearing dentures around you because they don't look unnatural and people using them can speak, eat, etc. totally normally.
I really strongly believe people with dentures shouldn't be shamed or feel ashamed of taking care of their oral health in the best way they can - clearly they reached a point where it wasn't reasonable to keep the teeth they had and made a really hard call, and that should be respected. Not everyone can afford good dental care, and even Zach's Judgment Snake must know the state of health education in this country. Don't shame someone for having no teeth, shame them for not taking care of the teeth they have... is more or less what I'm saying.
That said: 100% yes PLEASE, everyone, brush and floss regularly, get your teeth professionally cleaned at least once a year if you can afford it, and if your tooth is bugging the crap out of you
please get it checked out before the infection spreads or gets really bad. I cannot recommend water flossers heavily enough, they're a
huge leg-up in terms of oral hygiene and way better than regular floss. Just sayin'. Don't be Zach.
Zach, if everyone you meet is an asshole, it's you, not them.
Literally.
Zach over here like "if you smell shit everywhere you walk... it must be on literally every other person's shoes!" lmao
Not the most likely scenario.
