I guess for the Switch 2 the only reason to get it Day-1 is if you want the version of the system that might allow you to jailbreak it later. I mean it's a bigI remember when new console generations were exciting...
Well, car Kirby was pretty fun.
>the main thing this system has going for it is first party exclusivesThe problem with switch 2 is its just launching into a much more competitive environment with mobile PCs such as the steam deck and others on the market which are way more powerful but also more expensive. Nintendo advantage is their IPs, brand recognition, and price point. Part of the huge success of the the original switch was the portable nature which really didn't exist in any other way in 2017. You could pick up some great indie title and play it on the go or at home. I am not sure what the average person thinks but when I see switch 2 at $400 with an LCD screen, I ask myself why dont I just go an extra $150 and get a Steam OLED that plays more games and does more things than the switch except for the nintendo exclusives.
The only thing that will get me to buy the switch 2 is must have exclusives and Metroid prime 4 isnt really going to do it for me. At least not right away. So I predict a slower first year or so for switch 2 as people have more options and I think a shocking amount of people are content with their switch 1. I think it will be simillar to DS to 3DS. The 3DS really had a weak gimmick, but as it picked up more exclusives it sold as well as any other handheld. Switch seems to have pretty much no gimmick aside from being a better switch.
Wouldn't be so bad if Nintendo actually had discounts.Fuck off with the NSO price hike
They really are stingy with their 1st party software and services. Even in the Christmas season they only go down $10-$15, MAYBE $20 if you're lucky, but I don't think I've ever seen a 1st party game that was below $39.99Wouldn't be so bad if Nintendo actually had discounts.
Some of their big titles hit 30 on black Friday. And if you're talking digital then some even drop below that. They really are stingy with their 1st party software and services. Nintendo fans in 2017: “Monkey’s paw, I wish NES games didn’t cost $5 on the new system.”
Not to defend their pricing too hard but Arcade Archives is always arcade accurate, so you get arcade graphics (better than NES) and the pie factory level.Nintendo fans in 2017: “Monkey’s paw, I wish NES games didn’t cost $5 on the new system.”
If it's anything like the original Switch reveal, we'll get a video of the console and then news about the software line-up a month or so later. Either way I'm just interested in a release date so I can start putting money aside for the frigging thing.
I just want the good doctor in either Smash 6 or the port of Ultimate that they clearly want to be the next MK8 Deluxe. If it's anything like the original Switch reveal, we'll get a video of the console and then news about the software line-up a month or so later. Not even mentioning what Ninty did to AM2R on Metroid's 30th...
The rumour is April. Five months between reveal and release was how the original Switch did it, so this would be on the shorter side if so.Not even mentioning what Ninty did to AM2R on Metroid's 30th...
What are people guessing? Switch 2 released and playable by August this year?
Nigger, it's still a rom that you can download for free. Don't be a cuck. Oh wait, you're a nintendo fan nvmNot to defend their pricing too hard but Arcade Archives is always arcade accurate, so you get arcade graphics (better than NES) and the pie factory level.
If you want the crap version its probably on NSO.
