Aaron has just announced in his Members Only show that Melton and Nick are officially under a criminal investigation for the cybercrimes and he has calls with the police regarding it tomorrow.
He said it is confirmed it will directly impact his criminal case re: revenge porn.
He didn't confirm anything.
What Aaron has been doing for the past couple days is publicly talk about his interest in getting paid to go to Melton's event in Vegas to do a boxing match of some kind despite the fact he has accused Melton of crimes against him, with one of the potential opponents being Rekieta, who he has also accused of crimes.
Aaron then said he called his lawyer, NOT to ask if it was okay for him to do this, but apparently to set up some sort of contract for a fight. It isn't clear when he talks about "his lawyer" whether he's referring to his defense lawyer for his current case, or the previous lawyer he used for his past cases, but this lawyer appears to be up to date with the current case, so I'm assuming the former.
Aaron's lawyer sits his client down and tells him WHAT A STUPID IDEA IT IS to do something like this especially when he is trying to use their illicit access of his email accounts to get out of his pending case, or as Aaron put it: "that investigation is currently affecting [his] current case."
All of what Aaron is relaying is third-hand information. It's also worth noting that he confirmed his lawyer has hired a private investigator to examine Rekieta's illicit access, and part of what Aaron refers to as "the investigation" might actually be that. Aaron already stated he went down to be interviewed a long time, probably months ago, which itself would be "officially under investigation". The question is whether it moved forward or not.
What this boils down to is that Aaron is really fucking stupid. He's too stupid to realize that by discussing in detail his conversations with his lawyer he is waiving his own attorney-client privilege. He's too stupid to realize that negotiating a paid appearance for a boxing match with people he has accused of hacking him looks bad when he is trying to get people to take his accusation of hacking seriously. He had to be explained that by his lawyer as he then explained to the public, piercing his own privilege.
