Goodness, reminds me of the game Inside.
It was made by the same people who made Limbo but I prefer Inside for the industrial, dystopian and very isolated feeling you get while playing.

It's particularly why I adore games like Little Nightmare. BTW fuck the sequel and that creepy as fuck hospital. Not because of Dr. Ethan Ralph crawling on the ceiling but the section with the dolls. UGH.

The forest was also super unnerving.

Anyone watch 'Midnight'? I get his videos in my recommendations every now and then, and it's always the most basic shit horror treated with the 'OH MAY GOD, DIS IS THE MOST STURBIN' THING OF ALL TIME' brush. Like, I get there's probably not a lot you can do with the Doom Engine (I think the 'My House' one was one of the few that genuinely pulled something off by routinely fucking with the Player), but 90% of this guys' video is him whisper yelling into the mic about how he's shitting his pants because the map hasn't thrown any enemies at him yet.

This fag's videos fucking suck, but I don't think these shit mods deserve anything better. The Jackie Welles dialogue certainly doesn't help.

Does anyone actually know what the fuck is happening with this horselaugh.com bullshit? I keep getting videos on it in my recommended, and the only thing that comes up in searches is Reddit threads with extremely retarded and suspect findings.

I'm pretty sure it was just Tumblrites playing up how uncomfortable stuff like that made them feel, since teenage girls have a habit of exaggerating. I remember seeing threads about it.

It’s not exaggeration. Trypophobia is one of the things I unironically caution people against looking up because it triggers some caveman sleeper agent switch in you. Tumblrites crying about “muh tw!!! seeing X literally makes me go into a panic attack!!” chimp out when it comes to things such as snakes, needles, blood etc. I can believe someone has a legit serious phobia of those things, but not to the extent where simply seeing a picture of it causes hyperventilation and PTSD like these people claim.
Everyone has trypophobia, it’s hard wired into our instincts because of disease and poison like others mentioned. If you aren’t affected by it, you’re the outlier. But of course tumblrites don’t want to be the same as everyone, they want to be outliers, that’s why their trigger lists contain retarded shit like “the color blue, American flag, apples.” I hate the TW trend so fucking much but when it comes to trypophobia I make an exception.

I don't know where else to post this, but I miss the whole Slender Man mythos from Something Awful. The German woodcuts and ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics were really cool, not to mention the excerpts from academic books where the authors didn't understand what the fuck they meant, and the photographs where you could barely make him out in the background.

Probably the Junko Furuta murder case, in terms of the brutality she went through, as well as the fact that her murderers got off ridiculously lightly considering the specifics of the torture involved. It's a horrific case, but one that also tends to get a lot of coverage from the usual True Crime slop YouTubers vomiting algospeak all over the accounts of the incident instead of talking like a human being.

Sure the AI cat stuff is laughable, I thought it was funny but I can see how bad it is for kids to stumble across it. What was crazy is that we actually get to see the production behind it, I can't believe human being reviewed the videos in all earnest.
