The chinks spy on you, your ISP sells your browsing history, the various "free" programs on your computer collect and sell your data, windows knows a concerning amount about everything you do, the NSA does mass surveillance, your phone is always listening to you at all times for key advertisement words to tailor custom ads to you, the 14 different anticheat programs on your PC are spying on you and I am currently outside your window watching you scroll through this thread

There is no privacy anymore. You either have to go off grid completely or accept the chinks and glowies knowing about your squirrel girl R34

Nah, Role Queue has been a thing since OW1 and it's been bleeding out since with the slow and painful death of Overwatch League being the most visible sign.

OW2 just nailed in the coffin by adding absolutely nothing anyone really wanted and failing to implement the entire reason they wanted to make OW2 in the first place, PvE/Campaign mode, and then further screwing the pooch by going F2P and having worse monetization than your average gacha.

Stop being pedantic. Overwatch 2 is literally the same game as Overwatch 1.
 
I gave it a try last night and I can confidently say I haven't had this much fun in a game since I was a teenager. Heroes are fun to play. Mechanics are fun. Movement is fun. Gameplay is fluid and smooth. Everything in the game looks good, from lightning and shadows to effects and Black Widow's ass.
I was very hesitant to try it because I don't give a shit about the Marvel franchise and I didn't feel like playing hero shooters...Overwatch killed this in me. But man, this game is super fun. Will play some more tonight.

Hulk and Wolverine, my two favorite marvel characters. In Rivals, they are the two most situational and odd characters in the game.

Hulk is IMO the worst Vanguard. He is only considered top tier because he gives a team up buff to 2 other S tier characters (Iron Man and Dr. Strange) so pro teams use him solely for the team up. Without it he would never be picked. He is a short range melee character with low sustainability. Without a healer he can die in 2 or 3 seconds of sustained damage. I just do not feel menacing and hulking while playing Hulk. Hoping for a rework, his tools are used by and done better by other tanks. Peni's (lol) stun, Strange and Magneto's Shield. He is fun but not good.

Wolverine is the "tank buster" and I love playing as him going full rage and somehow facing down the entire team. However, he is only necessary when fighting against really strong tanks that are disrupting the team cohesiveness like Venom or Groot. Otherwise, the best DPS's are used to pepper damage and pick off healers and other dps. Wolverine does Max Health % damage, so his attacks are stronger on bigger Health Bars. He therefore has a hard time killing a full health healer or DPS in skirmishes.

Gold is freedom and fun. Season 0 all my gold games were hard fought wins and close losses. "Oh well it was an incorrect team comp or strategy, not a skill issue." People all knew their role well. I was shot back to Bronze 3 in Season 1 and have been climbing. Silver is full of people who can't play their role, which is just frustrating. Also everyone insta locks Invisible Woman and doesn't understand her role on the team.

Asking a healer or dps to switch to a different hero to counter an issue (unkillable Iron Man, lack of direct healing) results in a meltdown and ego death from them. I do love when they throw their big number at you : "I have 13K healing shut up." Yet when tanking I die in front of 2 healers with 5 seconds to heal me. I will take less deaths over a big Healing Number any day. And more kills over a big Damage Number as well.

Good job though, onward and upwards! :winner:

Thanks. Last season, the climb to Gold was easier and more relaxing. Sure, you sometimes have games where the other team is simply better. Nothing to get angry about. But you are right, people immediately go into meltdown when they lose a round, or you suggest something. And immediately start blaming the other players. That was probably most frustrating, people just can't lose nowadays. Really don't know where all those inflated egos come from.

Ranked also forced me to play Healer or Tank, since instalock DPS is always a thing. Not a bad thing, though, since playing Rocket is easy, and I can contribute to the team and a win without suffering an aneurysm. Well, in most matches anyway.

Are you already Gold this season ? And are you continuing in ranked? I am kinda temped to play more since I hope that Gold upwards the games and teams get better.
