I've played it and I enjoy the fishing, but what goes on in the chat really isn't okay. I was in a lobby the other day that obviously had kids in it and one or two users kept posting e621 links and talking about stuff that wasn't appropriate.
never played it, probably never will but ive seen alot of the defenses is like "there are so many 18+ refrences! a child shouldnt be here"

I'm sorry but I do not understand what you're aiming at. Are you implying the game is so shit that none of them played since then? Or that they joined a 'cord/VR chat link from webfishing and are playing/talking there.
Also most fad games have mayfly-like lifespans these days.
Gotta say webfishing hit different. It was like a callback to TF2 days when you played a game that required you to actively participate much like fishing in webfishing. You HAD to be present and at its heart was about socializing. 3 hours later, you realized it was all vrchat furries, pedophiles, groomers, and a developer who quit his own discord instead of taking responsibility for hosting a pedo-grooming game.
It's EPI. All of it, every single goddamn ounce at this point. The amount of EPI that gay furries and predatory troons have managed to inject into zoomer's brains (due to being chronically online) is beyond my ability to describe, but I'm sure someone else has done it far better than I could. At the end of the day zoomers en-masse have been so desensitized to porn that dressing like a gay furry prostitute is just "totally" an aesthetic and not a malignant tumor of gay hookup culture. I feel bad for some of them, but it takes a certain level of self-awareness to stop dressing like a perverted clown and develop a healthy sense of shame.

Petitioning anybody who owns this game to take a peek and see if this fucker is sperging on it after his KF ban for just being a general creep and slapfighting (called it by the way). He was in tight with Temmie, Rozzie, and all of them.
It was a game that, for a brief period, gained some popularity due to it having anthropomorphic characters. All you did was fish, but you could also interact with other people in game. Another feature was that you could draw stuff on the ground, with great detail. So Furry + interaction + being able to draw stuff + most furries being gay and autistic lead to them drawing literal porn on the map while also erping in chat. Of course, the Boykisser community latched onto this shit like a parasite and turned it into gooner central. No idea if the game is still alive or not now. My money is the ADHD, gooned out furries finally got bored of it.
Also the netcode was completely fucking broken while everyone still cared. Laggy as shit and trivial to hack.
Also forgetting the fetishistic apparel that was available in the game to encourage acting like a degenerate.
