A pretty underrated one is actually Chrom's death animation, where his sword flies into the air and the blade plunges into the ground next to him as he reaches out to it before collapsing. Corrin's sword does that too, but Corrin just accepts death. Alear accepts death and their blade just falls normally instead of heroically plunging into the earth because Alear is a bitch

Honestly, most of these “name changes” are simply cases of the localizers finally taking the time to translate the names as they were supposed to be to start with. Most of the names people previously used were cases of overly-literal translations of the Japanese pronunciations and did not represent accurate readings of the character names. Ingvi is a good demonstration of this, as it is another name for Freyr, while Jungby was generally a sort of Engrish that was accepted due to lack of alternatives. Similarly, this banner also included Genealogy's Ogma-pattern swordsman usually translated as Holyn, using the now-established translation of Chulainn (which was pronounced like Cullen) instead. It could be frustrating, but we're not exactly looking at a Belf-to-Vergil situation here.
