I HATE seeing memes about Trump's grocery prices plan. Those same people poking fun of it were likely complicit with the Biden administration CAUSING inflated grocery/gas prices in the first place. Even if he doesn't solve it overnight, I still place blame on the previous admin for creating that problem and their lapdogs for gaslighting people's concerns until they couldn't hide it anymore.

People who don't understand the difference between deflation and rising real wages love that talking point. Causing raw prices to drop absent a severe recession is nigh impossible. Causing wages to outpace inflation is easily doable if we get economic performance remotely similar to 2016-2019.

The GOPe faction of the Texas State House GOP caucus is really really pissed off that it utterly failed to get rid of Paxton, and it was willing to suck Democrat cock to get its candidate voted in as speaker. GOPe guy got 85 votes (49 Dem, 36 GOPe), non-GOPe guy got 55 (52 non-GOPe, 3 Democrats)

9 were present and did not vote, 1 was absent for the vote, all Democrats
