I called that one, although "Democrats take credit for Republican governance" is the free square on the political bingo card, to be fair.Right on cue,

How do kiwis view donating to charities?
Technically he's the President-elect, which changes the landscape, but its a precarious legal landscape in any care. Not that they give a shit about whats legal or in the interests of justice. Simple real-politik, in this case - prior lawfare failed and they don't have time to attempt it anyway. The real question is if they try and go after Trump for acting as president before 1/20. Isn't there a law against that? You can't represent the US Government without permission in foreign affairs? I want to say Hatch act but that feels wrong...
Not sure how true this is, but it definitely reads to me that Israel loses, which isn't what I expected from "all hell will break loose".
They reaaaaally don't like the fact that Trump refuses to take the hint and treat them like his lord and master like a good goyim, and actually treats them as the near vassal state ally that they really are.Not sure how true this is, but it definitely reads to me that Israel loses, which isn't what I expected from "all hell will break loose".
I don't see a single Jew celebrating this and tons of happy muslims so I'd say it's obvious. Not sure how true this is, but it definitely reads to me that Israel loses, which isn't what I expected from "all hell will break loose".
Knowing Trump, he probably agrees with their demands in the abstract, but they've aimlessly fucked around this past year and a half to the point that he has no choice but to force them into accepting utterly humiliating terms in the interest of preventing another pointless forever war.Trump has announced some sort of ceasefire deal between Israel and Hummus.
It's legit. And honestly I've given up at this point in understanding the Middle East Geopolitical conflict because it feels likes a giant game of Risk with so many factions all vying for control. Not sure how true this is, but it definitely reads to me that Israel loses, which isn't what I expected from "all hell will break loose".
So the hostages are released under Biden’s administration and Trump takes all the credit for it. Why did America vote for this angry Cheeto again?Good luck with that:

You can't lose a war where the casualties were like 10k to 1. You can only stop prosecuting it and return to normalcy. Gaza is still smoking ruins and the muslims there are still no closer to defeating Israel and the great satan. Not sure how true this is, but it definitely reads to me that Israel loses, which isn't what I expected from "all hell will break loose".
One of the most important incidents to understand Trump as a person is when he tossed that guy from the Apprentice for calling himself "white trash." Trump was pretty disgusted by that, you could tell. Vivek may never recover.Interesting point about Vivek, perhaps he was the first into the crystal?
The only cure for such hysteria.Right on cue,

Those are like $4 now.Like many Americans you are unable to conceive of finances in terms other than $1 = beefy five layer burrito or payday loan = goyslop faster.
Many such cases, very sad ect ect.
We'll know if it's a Trump deal or a Biden deal depending on the terms.Right on cue,

It's actually pretty common for a PE firm to go bankrupt itself through these slash-and-burn practices. Since everyone knows they're basically looting companies, no one gives a shit when it happens. It's one of the few cases in the business world where everyone looks at the corpse and goes "he got what was coming to him."If they don't succeed it's a deserving consequence for financial entities completely dedicated to short-sighted profits above all else. A corporate looter going for the low-hanging fruit getting into trouble due to their own mismanaged avaricious actions gets little sympathy.
partially but I think a large part of it is trying to humilate Bibi specifically more than israel as a whole. Bibi did trump a bad turn more than once and is generally not very big on "Deals" so I think trump's mindset is to be hard on palestein to ensure no more terrorism but also to get someone a little more willing to play ball on the israel side as well. And some vengeance for snaking him on the solemani hit and the congrats to the 4am ballots dropsKnowing Trump, he probably agrees with their demands in the abstract
There's definitely some bad blood between the two leaders. There is of course the additional motivating factor that Trump owes Arab Americans this ceasefire; he campaigned on making it happen and they shifted heavily towards him in response. Glad to see Trump is wasting no time in paying back his political debts.partially but I think a large part of it is trying to humilate Bibi specifically more than israel as a whole. I think Newsom will have a tough time rallying the base for a Presidential run not so much for the fire but because he's from California. I think the Democractic Party can only conclude that 2024 was a resounding failure because Harris failed to appeal to small town voters. What the party playmakers will want is someone from the Rust Belt or South. They need another Bill Clinton. I just can't imagine a cityslicker like Gavin getting Pennsylvania. With the fires, is Gavin Newsom still a possible Democratic presidential candidate, in 2028?
