Tell me about it. At Christmas a family member disfavorably compared Luigi to Rittenhouse and was shocked when there was pushback. Then they started reeeee'ing about statelines and how kyle wasn't allowed to have a gun lmao while defending the ghost gun having, state fleeing cold blooded murderer.

As others have pointed out Cuban-Americans have no love for socialism. This could also be a JD Vance situation where once he properly internalized the point and purpose of the MAGA platform he found out he agreed with it almost entirely.
That being said, he is a seasoned political animal and he could just be saying the right things to look more MAGA. If he is he's certainly done his homework.

I mean if you go by the Hawaiian dictionary definition, then yes. Colloquially, no. Basically, if you were born and raised here of parents born and raised here, graduated from a local high school, can speak pidgen fluently, enjoy eating raw fish and can walk on gravel barefoot (I'm not kidding), then you got unquestionable local credentials even if you have blue eyes and blond hair.
Elderly Asians basically run this state, because they're the only ones who bother to show up to vote en masse. We may have a Jewish governor, and Jewish/white reps and senators who are carpetbaggers, but to a man, they're all married to local Asian or hapa women. They'd be unelectable to high office otherwise.

I'm sure it will be a mixed bag because as funny as it would be for Isreal to get fucked that's just unrealistic. I'm sure there will he caveats on Palestinians and I have itchy feeling the US will be the one on the hook to enforce the terms of the treaty. Hopefully that ends up looking like the airforce doing a fly by and dropping a bomb on asshole and no Americans put in danger.

I'm still going to enjoy the cope and seethe from the dems and jews over this though.

I mean, this is already a huge win for Trump, but how many of these idiots are going to claim it was a Biden victory because it happened in the last week of Biden's presidency? Trump is getting a ceasefire deal, and I am extremely optimistic he will put an end to the Russia Ukraine conflict within his first few months. How many world healing things can he do before people start acknowledge him? I don't care about the opinion of losers but I do care about the suppression and twisting of stories to obscure Trump's influence on world events. Biden's failed advisor is already being added into every article about these negotiations like he actually contributed.

I assume every person has done an act of charity in their life (excluding psychopaths and evil people). Doing charity feels good. My goal is to be charitable without it being wasted or exploited.

The urge to be charitable is usually paired with immediacy or magnitude.
Immediacy: I find the most direct way to help where the results are observable. (Help stranded person/animal, sandbag a flooding area, donate an organ, pay money directly to fix the problem)
Magnitude: I use a skillset I have (or am good at procuring), or I understand a root cause and can help fix it. (donate professional services, build a longterm solution, repair an existing solution in need)

I don't donate time or money if I can't observe that it isn't being wasted. This eliminates almost all legally incorporated charities.

Having a preference on who to help is rational. You should feel no guilt for this preference. There are biological reasons (e.g. saving babies), and logical game-theory reasons (prisoner's dilemma, etc). Help "your people". Help your loved ones, help your community/tribe/network, help your peers, help your associates, help good people, help your nation, and help non-evil people.

To be charity, it must be freely given. If a transaction is happening, it is not charity. Guilt does not play a part in charity. If you are actually guilty, then pay the penalty (this is not charity). If somebody is trying to induce a donation by making you feel guilty, they are an extortionist. If a regular transaction is happening and they try adding guilt, they are an extortionist. You pay penalties for things you are actually guilty of. You don't give discounts because somebody induced you to feel pity, shame, or remorse.

Scumbags use the good feeling of charitable giving to benefit themselves. Playing a Sarah McLachlan song to inflict sorrow on you and guilt you into giving them money is scumbag behavior. I have an extremely low opinion of most "charities".

Charities as legal entities in the US are intertwined with income tax. Charity's being tax exempt attracts exploitation. Rich golfing buddies can have each of their daughters run a "small" tax exempt charity, donate their depreciated stock, and come out paying no taxes. There is much worse exploitation than this silly example.

Most people are probably more charitable than they think. The constant guilt tripping is from scumbags trying to exploit. If you want to feel good by being charitable, go help. I bet you know someone or something that could use help. If you don't have the energy, then help yourself so you can help others later.

There are app stores that allow you to download different regional versions of specific apps and they all work on any android phone as they really aren't region-locked like consoles are (or were back in the day). QooApp is one of those stores where you can download games from the following regions:
  • Japan
  • Korea
  • Greater China (with simplified or traditional language text)
  • US/Europe
  • Other (specifically other Asia like the SEA regions)
TapTap is a chinese app store that you can download and browse and install apps on it if you're from the US. Good luck reading/understanding anything on that though, as there's no english translation for the app itself. There is a separate english TapTap app though, but I don't think it's similar, as you're not bombarded with anime stuff immediately when you open the app like you are with the chinese one.
