It’s not exaggeration. Trypophobia is one of the things I unironically caution people against looking up because it triggers some caveman sleeper agent switch in you. Tumblrites crying about “muh tw!!! seeing X literally makes me go into a panic attack!!” chimp out when it comes to things such as snakes, needles, blood etc. I can believe someone has a legit serious phobia of those things, but not to the extent where simply seeing a picture of it causes hyperventilation and PTSD like these people claim.
Everyone has trypophobia, it’s hard wired into our instincts because of disease and poison like others mentioned. If you aren’t affected by it, you’re the outlier. But of course tumblrites don’t want to be the same as everyone, they want to be outliers, that’s why their trigger lists contain retarded shit like “the color blue, American flag, apples.” I hate the TW trend so fucking much but when it comes to trypophobia I make an exception.

Yes it is, they were playing up that one plant that has the round indentations on flower pod thing. Anything with clumps of pustules on skin that look like round balls has always been photoshops of actual photos and are intentionally made to be gross, much like blue waffle. It's hard to find anything like that in nature as well, pustules don't tend to clump up and push things out of your skin, they're full of pus and can pop and that's gross, but I've never heard of a disease that's real that triggers supposed trypophobia.

I don't have the made up phobia because I'm not a pussy despite the uncanny valley feeling of the photoshopped pics. It's amazing what psychosomatic fears you can instill in people.

Trigger warnings are for pussies and even modern day psychological medicine thinks they're bad.

He uses 2d sprites for most things, but uses 3d for other things like the row of rings on sticks which have smooth curves like the hills. If it is from the 90s, it would be impossible to run on computers from that era and even a 2005 computer would have issues due to the millions of polygons it needs to render from the miles of hills on screen. If it is from the 2000s it does not resemble the style of games from that time at all. Digital Horror is supposed to be reflective of some sort of digital media, and this is just some sort of formless soup. Kane should have just made a Doom wad instead of doing whatever this was. He could even release it and have his fans hype it up as the next my house.

This sort of vibe actually reminds me of a game I played in 2008-2009 ish. It was somewhat of a Webkinz knockoff, same idea - you buy a plushie that comes with a code, and you use that code to play the game. The game itself wasn’t anything like Webkinz, it was 3D open world that didn’t look too far off from this idea of large empty spaces, bad textures and smooth hills. Here and there you’d have a random building or tree. You played as the avatar of the plushie you have and controlled them in third person. Thinking back on it, the whole thing fit the liminal aesthetic to a T. Man, I have to find it now

To be fair, drb0sch is pretty well made. It doesn't spell much to the viewer, leaves a lot of the scary things to the imagination, the "lore" seems kind of all over the place, but you can safely ignore it and just enjoy the atmosphere. Or maybe I'm biased because I love New Vegas.

Was it Shining Stars by Russ? It's hard to find any gameplay footage of it, but Shining Stars and MyEPets are the two WebKinz knockoffs that seem to haunt people's memories.

But Cadaber has decided to go low effort change his format.

Long story short, burnout, fear of cancellation/demonetization/getting outed as a discord groomer getting involved in discord drama, personal loss, and other boring crap, has led him to decide to change the way he makes videos.
Now he'll be on camera (meaning, much less effort on scripting, editing, finding and using interesting and relevant footage, or doing anything creative), cover more topics, and use his secondary channel to do stuff about games and random crap he wants.

Instead of doing a short announcement, he dragged it into a 13 minute video, and preempted people unsubscribing because of the change.

Which, credit where credit is due, he's right, I did.

Missy Bevers isn't overly covered but I'd like to who killed her. Her husband and FIL were both cleared as suspects. Apparently she was having an affair when she was murdered so the new theory is a woman killed her but who knows.
