All these defending asshats don't realize that the original scope of KCD was full blown historically accurate role-playing. That has always been what KCD was defined to be. But this is not the first time that KCD failed on its promise, as I remember a deleted Crowbcat video of Warhorse talking about large-size epic battles in KCD, only to have nothing of that scale in the first game.

Well yeah they broke into the mainstream and are no longer an independent studio running a kickstarter. It got announced at the biggest gaming event(gay as it might be). Besides sequels often gain larger followings. Just look at Morrowind to Oblivion to Skyrim. None of those needed the fans of the last game.
