The chaser thing is a good example of how Dev can't see past his own immediate gratification, which is fine if your life goal is to be a junkie but not if you're a political activist.
To Dev the idea of being fetishized means a woman looks at your body and wants to lick it, which is something he's never experienced in his life. The equation ends in sex so he's happy. He can't examine how say an amputee woman might not feel particularly flattered or valued just because she has her DMs full of guys who have a fetish for human mcnuggets. It may even make her feel degraded, like living pornography. Dev, try lifting some weights or smaller portion sizes to make your girlfriend happy instead of advocating for society-wide policies based on the kind of porn you like.

I distinctively remember him mentioning something about a Roman who said "it is ok to not hold a opinion on something you know nothing about" on a video about woke purity spirals or some shit with people getting ostracized for not being up to date on the newest bullshit, but of course he only said it to sound smart and never actually understood it. This is the guy who literally read Gramsci, made a entire video explaining the whole "everything is political" and the communist hijacking of media and entertainment to push the revolution, and then turned around to deny that such subversive efforts were happening and it was all "accidental" "incompetence" and "miscalculation".
He will say whatever he thinks sounds smart without actually understanding or internalizing any of it.

With Wendigoon I think it was just a failed attempt at being even-handed. Also probably has to do with Randy Weaver having loose white nationalist ties, just covering his ass considering the asinine things twitter has tried to cancel him over in the past. An overcorrection maybe but it's easy to forget how young he is and new to being in the public spotlight, his channel blew up really big REALLY FAST and only recently. It also was maybe 3 minutes of a 2 hour long video. With his background and the subjects he covers you'd be hard pressed to make a case that he's subversive in that manner, he could have just stuck to Analog Horror recaps and FNAF lore but he does cover a lot of govt fuck ups and conspiracies despite being monetization poison so he's clearly into it.
As for Razor, he's always projected being anti-porn for at least the past 5-6 years and he's had an anti-asian media hate boner for his entire online career. This latest sperg-out was no heel turn, it was just those two things coming together,. Look at the tweet that set it off again, he specifies Korean games. He didn't need to be paid off to say these things, this is basically what he has been passively saying for years coming to a head with most of his audience. Also probably doesn't help that he is a terminal-contrarian.

It's kinda ironic, because in my world I'd rather avoid knowing about whatever pop culture or current thing is going on unless it naturally happens to be divulged to me. In the case of movies, or shows or whatever I just gotta watch/play to be in on people's discussions, I'd much rather be out of the loop so I can ignore whatever it is they are talking about.
