Wound a soldier hard enough, and he has about as much combat efficiency as a dead one.
But he also costs massive resources, manpower and otherwise, and when he gets home as a cripple he gets to act like a 24-7 mobilization warning.
The last one seem to be wounded. I do not think you should attack wounded soldiers.
For two reasons.
Reason one. It is not a nice thing to do.
Reason two. A wounded soldier cost resources and manpower.
In the military they taught us that it is better to wound an enemy, since he will require two soldiers to carry him.
Be that as it may, war is hell.
They might not have gone after him if he had made it outside the vehicle. (Though maybe they would, given that Hohols often leave their wounded behind.)
But at this point double tapping vehicles is just SOP. Plus they didn’t see him until it was too late.

Once released they ran to the west, but SURPRISE PIKACHU! Their sponsors suddenly didn’t have well paying NGO jobs! Their degree was worthless and those stupid neoliberal universities make you PAY BIG MONEY for school unlike back at home.
So now they work at shit jobs for shit wages, bitch with other exiles on Russian language websites, and despair about the fact that nobody gives a f about “their struggle” or how cool and brave and rebellious they were.
(And of course gossip and badmouth the 0,01% of their colleagues who sucked enough neocon dick to land a job as a “Russia/Belarus expert” at some cucked “think tank”.)
