They're really doubling down on the "there is a Super Sekret 4th episode guys" due to the DVD released date of series 4 (23rd January). No idea why other than :autism:

To Americans it probably makes some kind of warped sense, because of the way they write dates- MM/DD. Therefore it would be 01/23, and that somehow implies a subsequent 4 in their exceptional little brains.

This is of course, ignoring the fact that BBC is quite plainly British, and we Britfags write the date DD/MM. So for the people releasing the DVD, it's just 23/01.


Anyway, that aside, good god, the salt mine is delicious. Watching Sherlock fans piss and whine about this is just a treat, especially since they were being a bag of dicks to another fandom for the past few weeks over a goddamn tag.

I've just realised that half of the autism is coming from the Doctor Who fans (Moffat wrote both Sherlock and Doctor Who) when the Doctor and the Master used to be shipped until the Master turned female. Then the tumblrinas lost their shit about it. I feel like this is the leftovers that became the Sherlock fandom cause being in the Doctor Who fandom didn't get their needs met of 'muh ship needs to be real!!!'
