Is the Appalachian trail even a big deal? Never looked into it, but I'm an experienced hiker and when he has told stories about it, he made it seem more like a really long tourist trail with abundant stops for commerce, and public shelters. If its some straight in the woods shit where you need to pack a weeks worth of food, socks, and water and set up camp each night then its actually impressive, but his few stories detail a very different experience.

Actually doing it is a pretty big deal especially if setting a good time as a physical feat. The problem is he didn’t actually hike it to completion and got picked up by his dad once he got sick drinking contaminated water.

He claims also cutting it short because there is only so much the woods can teach you. Which is funny coming from a proclaimed spiritual mystic.

IIRC, he was also discussing how he was an apathetic person in general, while/before talking about the Appalachian trail. That indicates he was depressed potentially. Anything requiring substantial effort probably felt significant to him, even if it wasn't actually significant.

It’s about 2200 miles so it would be significant especially if some sort of crazy time was set (6-7 weeks being close to the 40 day world record). Keeping in mind that would be going 50+ miles a day for 40 days.

But my previous post above explains he didn’t do that or even the whole trail.

Never been around it myself, but I know it is massive and ranges from just touristy walking trails in some parts to hardcore pack up supplies and hike trails for serious outdoorsmen. You'd think I'd know all the details of Rudy's journey since he's told the story 50 times, but my eyes glaze over hearing the word Appalachian come out of his mouth.

I'm willing to give Rudy the benefit of the doubt and assume he did actually hike and survive out in the woods. I doubt it was as epic and badass as he makes it out to be. Also he makes it seem like he's in an exclusive club of people by doing it, but Rudy it's a trail, people go there.

As for it as an achievement, it is impressive if true, but not so much it needs to be brought up every video. It's more impressive like being employee of the month or something like that. You and your friends and family will care, other people might go "oh nice that's cool," but it's definitely not a Cesarean Feat to make the backbone of your identity and start a movement over.

It's such a shame he doesn't get out more, it likely would have helped his mental state. He wants to be talked about like he's mythical, but he's spent too much time not doing things instead of, well, doing them.

It really is amazing how many Gen Z men social issues could be solved by simply going outside and being social, but that never seems to cross anyone's mind and they just resign themselves to being pissed women can vote instead lol.

The last time someone on twitter told him to do that he was like “I HIKED THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL! I’M 6’4!! I FOUNDED A SOCIAL GROUP IN LA FOR INFLUENCERS!!!” Like he’s a dispenser that dispenses the same 3 or 4 things every time his “honor” feels insulted, even when it makes no sense and being 6’4 has nothing to do with being proactive in the world.

I went through the comments on his latest “normal upload” and seeing people being supportive and concerned for him got me thinking of another angle here.

Think about David Koresh compared to Rudyard.

What if he uploaded the videos with the intention of taking them down later? This ensures his most loyal and constant viewers would have seen it and would probably understand his false claim afterwards of it all being a joke to ensure the existence of his group.

Those most ardent supporters now feel even more of a parasocial tie to him and that their leader has endured intense hardship and come out willing to lead.

While I’m not sure WhatifAlthit will go full Koresh (the fact I’m putting it in the realm of possibility isn’t a good sign); there is a chance this was some weird cult leader 5D chess move that’s too early to see the implications of.

It's probably the only "feat" he ever accomplished in his life which is why its the center of his universe. We all know guys like that who generally don't do much and then do/have that one thing that is uncommon and suddenly its a huge part of their identity.

A Classic example is someone who thinks travelling to other countries makes them really interesting.

The sad reality for Rudy and people like Rudy is that the part of his life he takes for granted (running a successful youtube channel) is more interesting to learn about than the part of the life he takes pride in (hiking a trail) or wants to be known for (God killer savior of the West).

He mentioned liking Japanese music and mentioned lyrics to a song titled “Dark Crow” in the third video; decided to google it and it’s an anime opening which I guess makes sense for Rudyards internal “chosen one” narrative.
I find it funny when he's like "Dudes. I can change my thoughts and shieeet when playing different songs. The frequency of my brains are chhaanggging."
At one point in his biography, he's snapping his fingers because "it changes the frequencies of my braaaiinn duuude".

He thinks normal biological reactions to music and sounds are strange and esoteric.

Point taken.

>Vinland Saga

Honestly, I'm disappointed it isn't any of the Death Note OPs. Rudy looking at anime Patrick Bateman and thinking he's totally him fr fr would be a free space on a bingo card.

can you retards stop asking people to do stuff that's really easy to do? It takes like 10 minutes to make a torrent.

I've attached the torrent file to this post, throw it in your client. It has a couple web seeds that'll expire in a month on it to help get the torrent moving

If someone gets me a link to every single on of WhatIfAltHist's social media pages, I'll go ahead and make a content archive and throw it into a torrent too to spoon feed you people.
