There is a high prevalence of autism in the trooner and general fagger community who are unbelievably oblivious to social and emotional cues. It is painfully obvious (and cringe) when people play Outer Wilds and look up solutions or glance at their stream chat, then act out some contrived way to "discover" the solution for themselves. It's obvious because of the way in which the game requires you to think: people tend to hold onto incorrect assumptions until they accidentally stumble upon something that changes their perspective.

Some streamers are honest when they get spoiled, and it's not the end of the world. Figgy clearly and repeatedly pretends to figure out entire puzzles on the spot. Watch anyone else play Outer Wilds and (accidental brute-forcing aside) you'll see pure excitement and pride when they make breakthroughs. He doesn't even try to fake that; he plays it cool, as if it was so easy that he felt nothing.
He is - unsurprisingly - not a good actor. He didn't get to experience any of that for himself, because he couldn't handle the embarrassment of getting stuck.

I only got a couple of hours into his "full playthrough" - the runtime of the video was enough to make me 90% sure he was full of shit already - but I couldn't bear to watch when I realised he was going to "figure out" every solution instantly to look smart.

Autistic rambling aside, I'm posting this mostly to point out that he did exactly the same thing throughout his TUNIC playthrough, which has some fairly obtuse meta-puzzles in the same vein as Outer Wilds.
I have hated the sight of him ever since having both of these videos shoved into my face by the YouTube algorithm.

(I'd like to add that if you haven't played these games, there are certain things that you can't un-learn. It's absolutely not worth spoiling them for yourself over this cockroach.)
