and swbm you were okay when you became a mod and then you turned into a typical shit SA mod asshole. Aren't you the one who started banning the Krusty meme? GBS was actually starting to be fun again until you guys started cracking down on the fun injokes and banning the funny posters.

It wasn't just about him banning a meme. GBS went from being the SJW central to an actually fun forum that was unmoderated where people could actually be funny without being banned. It was a brief golden age for a forum that had been dead since the SJWs took over and made it into a politically correct place to post news stories about cops killing people, or whatever SJWs talk about. When swbm started banning the krusty meme it reignited the over-moderation of GBS. The funny posters got chain banned or probated until they were driven off, and now GBS is what it was again for the most part. An unfunny place for SJWs to post about trans rights.

the thing about gamergate/hellthread on SA was that it put a sharp spotlight on how SA mods in current year could not accept making fun of the most dreadful lolcows - some of them literal pedophiles - like sarah butts and brianna wu (both star attractions here at the kiwi zoo) just because they identified as <marginalized_class_ID>, which of course struck OG goons as Total Bullshit

and so we ate probe after probe until one day the ban came down but this time as far as I can tell no one's coming back, the only reregs I see are DND hugboxers and CC scammers neither of which are gonna support lowtax and his wives' kids for very long

Before that particular turnover I actually just used GBS as a news aggregator, which is all it was good for. Every thread was full of people who would dogpile you if your post was too short, didn't have proper grammar and formatting and was off topic. Also making puns was banned. They even moved the CAD Mock threads to BSS, which the comic book spergs didn't like and had it turned into a "Webcomic Discussion" thread because people were being mean to artists.

One of the only funny threads I remember from a few year span of casually browsing it a couple times a week was when some woman walked into an airplane propellor and people tried to make fun of her for walking straight into an airplane propellor, before white knights started melting down and people started getting thrown out for cracking wise, insensitivity and misogyny.
