It's actually kind of funny revisiting Adam Something after a while. His video on why academia tends to be left-leaning is so hilarious to view, especially when it's proven wrong by just looking at the people coming out of leftist colleges.
They guzzle the Left's talking points without any ounce of critical thinking, they attack anime and video game fandoms and equate them with fascism and racism, (even though most of these fans voted for Obama in '08 and only turned on the Left because the Left attacked them first) they can't tell the difference between right-leaning libertarians and outright fascists, (it's the difference between Thomas Jefferson and Francisco Franco) and they get pissed off when a leftist work like Warhammer 40K is reinterpreted from a conservative lens to be more pro-religion and pro-nationalism. It's like "death of the author" is such a foreign concept to them, and their idea of poli-sci is "everyone to the Right of me is Hitler" x20. That does not make them smart; that makes them into sheep. Compliant, unthinking, sheep. And these are the people whom Adam views as "smart".
The biggest joke about these people is that a good number of them come with journalism degrees, and they think that'll get them an instant job hire from big outfits like the New York Times, CNN, or some big leftist outfit that'll guarantee them a good wage. Then capitalism hits them square in the face when these outfits don't want to hire them, so they're forced to write about nerd shit in Kotaku or some other game journo blog, catering to the same gamers and weebs that they were trained to hate in school, where they were taught that gamers and nerds were disgusting, sexist manbabies who love to ogle female video game characters. These college-educated journos wind up with minimum-wage jobs, writing about things they don't like, catering to an audience of people they hate, because they were lied to by the system. It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
Adam shines at his best when he's making fun of third-world dictators and Elon Musk. The moment he steps out of that comfort zone and guzzles leftist talking points, he shows how weak his knowledge of the real world is.
