Would the name change be public record? I'm ignorant but I would think that would at least be public

Edit: I would also guess that with the divorces and such they could have moved around some. So might not be in the county you personally just searched @Zjierb

I think Zoob is just an over-socialized child who became addicted to attention because of how addictive SM's are set up to be. It's better that she tries to get better now while she's freshly an adult with control over her own situation, then 10+ years down the line when she's practically feral and can only communicate in gibberish. Addiction does very nightmarish things to a person, especially someone who started out so young. I hope in the next few years down the line, she's doing something productive and has a positive relationship with her family.

Parents going through a certainly messy divorce, broken home (percieved or real, with kids it doesn't really matter), absent mother, multiple siblings. All of those are things that will lead to an hormonal (and in Zoey's case, mentally ill as well) teen to feel starved for attention.

She got into arguments with other kids while on her ThreatSensei account because she saw that the such accounts always had people watching their every move, and reacting to whatever they did. When that fad died out, she decided to start getting into arguments with other people on her Fornite Youtube accounts, probably becoming a genderspecial during or soon after this happened, once again for attention. Her dad then dies and what we are left with is with a pooner whose mother is too busy trying to get a new bf rather than raising her and her siblings, and whose poor family situation and unsuccessful love life makes her seek escapism on the internet.

She keeps on slapfighting with other Splatoon fans like before until she breaks up with Awmui and meets Talbott, discovers that he has a thread on here (it's possible that she knew about KF before she met him, as she was a huge Larson fan and a lot of info on him can be found here), and winds up getting involved with Nik and with a thread. The rest is history: Socking, oversharing, mass negrating, call out threads, pissminge, the other lolcows she contacted/tried to contact, etc. It was all for attention, and when the attention got too close home, she decided to quit.

Hopefully it was out of self-reflection rather than as a way to try and get the heat off of her for the time being.

I have a lot of doubts. For instance there's no records about a Zoey Thompson living in Tampa proper, and it'll be weird for her mom to still live in what's essentially a shack while paying 30k a year on her NEET daughter's rent, no matter how much she wants to keep her away from her new family

Isn't Nick Rekieta CHIPS case leaked because anybody could access it via public access terminals? I don't know if the law is the same in Florida and I'm pretty sure that would be too much effort and going into the gray zone of the law.

ETA: Speaking of CPS case, Zoey mentioned the possible name of her abusive stepdad here.

The more I read of this thread, honestly, a lot of the time I do feel bad for Zoella. I honestly don't think anyone really wants to see her fail. We all want to shit post her but I don't think any of us want to see her fail at life like other cows.

I do too. Some of it matched up but some of it didn't. Some of the pictures looked like her in the 411 but some of the info didn't match up. Watch it be some 40 yr old dude recycling weird obscure images lol

But the thing is that Nick is also extremely high-profile. Everybody knew exactly who Nick Rekieta, owner of a law firm from the town of Spicer in central Minnesota, was. We don't even know if Zoey is actually Zoey, it'd be like looking for a nail in a haystack, even more so if the case went nowhere like she says it did
