If only my heckin Nipponese soda was more available here, but you baka gaijin can't comprehend the complexities of its flavor.
In a more perfect world Weebs like you would be hanging from a lampost for the local children to pelt with stones

Anyone else try the Taco Bell Mtn Dew Baja Blast gelato? It's not bad, but it's more like sherbet than gelato.
You know I'm curious but can't wrap my head around what it would taste like if it isn't a sorbet and it definitely doesn't look like sorbet. The pie too

I brought home some Cheerwine recently. I can buy it in a specialty soda store locally but not in a six-pack. It's good stuff. It's like a mix of the "Red 40" cherry flavor and actual cherry flavor.
Cheerwine is the best of the regional sodas, especially if you get it as a float from Cookout on a late night.

Tried the new Oreo Coke Zero Sugar, man did it taste awful.
It tastes even worse if you drink it at the same time you eat the cola-flavored oreos. I'm normally okay with the Oreo Coke Zero, but the cookies themselves tasted like those gummy cola bottles. Just gross, and absolutely nauseating when paired with the actual soda.

Why does apple soda exist? That shit is nasty. Second only to diet soda.

Some apple sodas are pretty gross (that recent Fanta Beetlejuice candied apple soda was horrendous) but if you find a good one, they’re awesome. Jones green apple is pretty tasty, and old fucks like me who remember Slice and their apple soda know how good that shit was.

I haven't been to a McDonald's in a very long time. I wanted a Coke Zero and there was a location very close by me when I made this decision. I'm telling you all this to ask a question: is it true that there's something different about the sodas customers get from McDonald's? I have Coke Zero reasonably often and I don't recall getting one that tasted this good and was this refreshing anywhere else.

Speaking of, I got a Sprite from McDonalds about a week ago to see if the whole thing about it being really strong was true. I took a sip and immediately felt like my chest was about to explode.

BITD McDonald's used to reconstitute the soda in their soda fountains right there in the store, carbonating the syrup on site.

The pressurized carbonation tubes used to sound like an industrial shopfloor from the final fight of an action movie.

Some of it is due to having a consistent water standard since it's not just from local municipal, the other is that they tend to blend syrup directly into it, which does change the flavor profile somewhat.

Though I really should drop soda altogether and switch to tea or milk for my "something to drink in large proportions that isn't water" drink, or just switch to water.
I've really enjoyed sparking water since having to cut out soda. It's around a dollar for two liters. It's very fizzy and it scratches the itch that an uncarbonated beverage just can't.

Liquid Death dropped these cans of soda-flavored sparkling water a little while ago, I'm a big fan of the cola-flavored one.

Oh, and I'm shocked to see that no one reported on the rerelease of Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry over the holidays.
