He pretended it was ratified by 3/4ths and was still in the time limit (which had already been illegally extended and still expired).
The real question is did he just not realize it isn't 1975 anymore or did he just figure "I'll just pass this and force them to un-pass it later."

I might be preaching to the choir, but Tencent owns at least some stake in almost every western video game publisher now. Them being forced out of the US would probably just entail them being forced to sell their holdings (which would devastate the companies they invested in as a lot of them are using fake Chinese money to stay afloat) but if, on a lark, any live services games that are partially owned by Tencent had to shut down I don't think there'd be any left.
For an example of this, Epic Games? Fortnite? That's 40% owned by Tencent. If they had to fire sale it it would wreck the company, if they had to shut down Fortnite temporarily the average IQ of zoomers would go up 10 points.

It's a ploy by the people who actually run the country behind the scenes to try to force ERA relevancy. It's not going to stick but they're going to try to force it and insist it makes Trump look bad for not supporting it. Unfortunately for them, only extreme lefties care about it at all, as if everyone doesn't have equal rights as is.

I think enough of the higher ups in Israel realize they've either reached peak support/worship, or have just recently passed it. The only nation Israel really has to avoid pissing off/alienating is the United States. Problem is both the left and the right in the US have their grievances with Israel (justified or not is another matter). For the most part, the right is still on board with Israel. Despite the far-right's expanding influence. Despite Trump's stances. The left is another matter, and is completely lost. The far-left is the activist arm of the DNC. Without them, there is no path forward for the DNC. The DNC will/is abandoning Israel. The biggest proof I have of that is that Kamala, sitting vice president, and almost president chose that idiot from Minnesota (a very safe democrat state) over Josh Shapiro, current governor of Pennsylvania (a state she needed to win). That choice was no doubt in part due to Shapiro's links to Israel. I fully believe the DNC will turn on Israel in the coming years. Its the only option they have on that issue. The far-left is the future of the DNC, and if that isn't was reason enough, the muslim population of Michigan (another important state for dems) is. Israel is a nation surrounded by enemies who only have to win once. For Israel this is a life and death matter. Its now, or likely never.
