I don't even buy the "Mald found out how to hack the YT algorithm" thing. He probably just paid for views and comments.
He heavily exploited the youtube shorts system and that pushed him to everyone's front page. They are really easy to mass produce and spam out. I think he did it during the era when youtube was heavily boosting every short as well, youtube wanted their own little tiktok so they just boosted every single one in the algorithm.

As a former Eve player, Jason absolutely resembles several players I've interacted with. The sorts of people who become power tripping jannies. But most of them don't also have a gay furry parasocial fanbase.

Mald makes shorts for retards/midwits/kids. There are tons of retards/midwits/kids on youtube and even more consuming shorts. Its not that complicated but you do have to hand it to Mald for cornering the tech-tard kid market even better than those who came before him (Perhaps Mald will put a ferret into a washer/dryer as well : ) )

Edit: the tunic clip should be highlighted immediately. I was explaining this situation to an autist I know yesterday and he was telling me about Tunic and the puzzles. Unreal Mald cheated there as well. BINGO

Just imagine if this idiot had any actual real power, I would trust Jeffrey Dahmer running a boys summer camp before I let this retard near anything important.
I’m imagining him like Fantastic from New Vegas. A wildly incompetent moron who only got to his position from pure luck

seems sus, immediate defensive stance "I was prob playing monster hunter" yeah, playing another game on phone when you stuck on a puzzle... "I was prob typing or texting"
yeah, typing the answer... Mald never disappoints :smug:
"Cheating? Not possible. You see, the problem is that I'm actually not super smart, I'm super duper smart. The game was so easy that I played another game at the same time, and that's why it looks like I'm cheating. I did the same thing while working at Blizzard. Now do you understand, stalker child? Well, it doesn't matter, you'll be on my blacklist now and I'll be making some calls. Say goodbye to your online life."

I think my first exposure to Mald was a YouTube short of an unban request stream, and seeing the barely suppressed glee with which he held that power over people instantly turned me off of him. Glad to see that first impression was more or less spot on. I'm not sure if it's even theoretically possible to live react to unban requests without coming across as at least a bit of a narcissistic dickhead, but if it is, he was miles away from succeeding.

The worst part is that its not a puzzle, its a simple mechanic the game almost handholds you to. He doesn't get it and then tries to play it off like he just got the pieces in the right place to solve it, when its the simplest shit possible

Or lucked out.
Seems more likely. I used to watch his streams before he blew up, he used to talk about how he saved money growing mushrooms and buying a whole cow's worth of meat and storing it in a chest freezer. Given the pictures of the shithole house he was living in and what I know of Twitch revenue, he probably wasn't lying about being poor back then.

He could probably have coughed up for shitty fake subs and views but everyone and their dog was complaining about their feeds being full of his shorts. You need real money to buy real views.

He has real money now tho...

Maldy just announced:

- Montly Hearthbound updates
- Building the largest ferret auswizch of America
- Publishing a game either on Offbrand, or he publishes himself.

Calling his minecraft server: Block Game, Social Sandbox MMO... 🤣

He also get nervous writing code on stream, that's why he hasn't worked on Hearthbound.

All three of these individually have the potential to blow up in a very bad way, and together feels like a massive overcompensating overextension. Kudos if he somehow pulls them all off, but past behavior has me skeptical at best.
