They don't make money because their label don't give them a cut and a majority of "independent" artists don't even have 1000 plays on their whole fucking discography. When artists say "make enough money" they mean luxurious and not just "liveable". Since their careers are to be "likeable", or at least to keep their fans listen to their music in this case, they can't run around saying that they just want expensive shit, so they hide their greed beind the "make enough money" facade.

0.0019 $/play to 0.0012 $/play is the Spotify standard payment (these are numbers from my own receipts).

So If you want a monthly salary of a comfy 7500$ before taxes: You need 4 to 6.3 million plays per month, that's a decent life if you can have that (compared to being a wagie). I tried polytopia briefly, like a few years ago when Elon mentioned how he was really good at it, so I got curious. It's baby's first civilization game, lacking depth and it's fairly simplistic. To be extremely clear here: I am very well read into a lot of cryptocurrency stuff and DOGE is not only a meme coin but its also considered to be retarded since it basically wildly inflationary (but also deflationary in the very long term) which I believe was done via a hardfork ages ago.

It is a wildly antiquated project that runs on very, very old technology when it comes to cryptocurrencies - there are projects out there running Windows XP or even Windows 8 and DOGE by comparison is the equivalent of MS-DOS. The fact that its a staple and remains one of the top cryptocurrencies has very little to do with Elon Musk and even if he wanted to it would be almost impossible for him to exert meaningful control over it or "improve it" or whatever retarded claims he likes to put out.

He could of course launch his own cryptocurrency or officially endorse one and gain substantial amounts of money from it but he hasn't done so at all. Tesla accepted Bitcoin payments for a brief period of time and then stopped doing so. They still hold some BTC that is worth tons now. But aside from that I haven't seen any substantial links between Elon Musk and cryptocurrency.
